Simple Anniversary Card

I just wanted to share a simple anniversary card that I had made last month and forgotten all about...

The cut is from Lyrical Letters. If you are ever in a pinch for a cute and simple card this cartridge has some great little treasures on it. All I did was add some stitching and a sentiment and it was done. The beautiful sentiment is from Emma's 'Many Greetings' stamp set. This set has terrific sentiments for all sorts of occasions. I LOVE it!

That's it for me today, I posted a football birthday card earlier, so go ahead and take a peek if you would like! I hope you are having a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Items Used:

Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge
My Creative Time - Many Greetings
Sakura White Gellyroll Pen

Football Themed Birthday Cards

My Dad really loves football and his birthday was last week, so I thought this would be the perfect theme for his birthday card. I also incorporated the colors of his favorite college team - BYU. It was a hit!

This card is 5.5" x 5.5." I used Emma's 'Wow! So Many Candles' stamp set for the sentiment and embossed it with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder. I also made a similar card for my great-nephew but his is standard A2 Size of 4.25 x 5.5.

I had made a similar style of a basketball card a while back. HERE is the link if you are interested on seeing it or getting more details on that one.

Items Used:

Sports Mania Cricut cartridge (everything but the Y)
Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge (Y)
My Creative Time stamps - Wow! So Many Candles
Cuttlebug - Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder

Monday Madness... Imagine That!

Welcome to  another Monday Madness... Imagine That! with Emma at My Creative Time. This week we were to make anything we wanted so long as we used our Imagine or patterned paper. I don't have an Imagine, so it was patterned paper all the way!

I was super excited to break out my new Cricut Everyday cartridge that I got with my 3 month Cricut Circle trial membership. I had a really sweet friend give me the membership and this is the cartridge that they sent out to us.

Can you tell that it is a Gypsy?! I thought it would be fun to give her a cute Peachy Face too! I used Emma's 'Paper Princess' stamp set along with her 'Stitched Oval Die'! I love how many sentiments fit onto these dies. They are perfect! I LOVE them!!!

I hope you will hop on over to Emma's blog (if you haven't already been there) and see what she and the rest of the design team have in store for you! I'm hoping to find all of you sweet friends happy and well! Be safe and make it a good day! Hugs- Glora

Market Street Stamps - Block Party

Hi friends, it has been a busy weekend, but I just had to squeeze in the new Market Street Stamps Block Party. You have through Sunday to break out your Market Street Stamps and join in the fun!

I had lots of fun with this. I used my brand new 'Blast Off' stamp set that I won from the sweet DoBea Alberts. I colored with my Copics (don't judge too harshly, I'm still learning, but I like how it turned out, so I guess that is what matters). I cut the world from the locker talk cartridge on white. Then I colored the land with copics and inked the edges. For the ocean parts I inked it up to give it some varying colors. I had WAY too much fun with this. Oh yes and I got a little stamp happy with those darling stars, but I'm still lovin' it. I stamped a birthday sentiment on the inside and gave it to my nephew for his birthday today.

And don't forget to join me in just a couple of hours for a very special BLOG HOP!!!! Hugs- Glora

Items Used:

Locker Talk Cricut cartridge
Market Street Stamps - Blast Off
Copic Markers
Inks
Kaliedacolor ink (sentiment, stars)

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 5

Hello my sweet Peachy lovin' friends. I can not believe this wonderful week has come to an end. I have absolutely LOVED sharing my love of Peachy Keen Stamps with all of you and I'm so thankful for Kathy, Angelica and the whole Peachy Family for giving me this, dream come true, opportunity! Thanks a million times over!!!!

My last back to school project is a banner. I used my daughter's school colors of blue, red and white and have it hanging up in our house. My girls LOVE this banner and I hope you do too. First I'll show you a picture of the whole banner and then we will zoom in on some of the details...

Right side closer up:

Okay now here is my first little banner holding girl:

I think this little girl is such a CUTIE especially thanks to her darling Peachy Face! I used 'Princess Faces' for her super sweet face. I also used a background stamp called 'Punched Tin' by Market Street Stamps for her dress. I seriously want dresses with that same pattern on it for my girls!

Here is the cute banner holding boy:

For this sweet little boy, I used one of my favorite go to stamp sets called 'Wide Eyed Kids'! LOVE these! And for his sports team numbers I used the awesome chunky numbers from Emma's 'Follow Your Dreams' stamp set. If any of you are BYU sport fans that number should look familiar ;).

And now for the last little banner holder:

Doesn't she look SO happy! I just love the 'Happy Lashes' set by Peachy Keen Stamps. It makes everything look SO super cute! For the dress I stamped it with the 'Extra Small Polka Dot' stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Well, I think that's it. What a wonderful week!!!! Thanks so much for being so supportive and encouraging to me! You are all so very sweet and I hope that I can help to encourage you in your creative work as well. Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 4

Hi and welcome to day 4 of my time over at Peachy Keen Stamps! I'm just LOVING every minute of it! I hope you are too! For today's back to school project I made an altered frame to display my daughter's 1st day of school picture.

I had so much fun with this project! The darling Peachy Faces I used today are: Critter Faces for the boy and Princess Faces for the girl. I used these faces on cuts from the Playtime Cricut cartridge. I must admit that this cartridge wouldn't have even appealed to me if it weren't for Peachy Keen Face Stamps. I just love how cute they make these little kids.

I also used an old paper punch for the butterflies and hand doodled behind them. I used Emma's new 'Stitched Oval Die' at the bottom of the frame as well as part of a sentiment stamp from her 'Gift Card Sentiments.'

Thanks so much for your sweet comments and support. They mean so much to me! Hugs- Glora

***If you are looking for my Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer Day 3 post, scroll down or click HERE. If you are looking for my Day 4 post you can see it HERE***

Hello creative friends! Welcome to another My Creative Time Design Team Thursday! Today we are all making cards using the colors teal, red and chocolate chip!!! What a fun color combo. Make sure you drop by Emma's blog to see what she and my design team sisters have made. Here are my mini note cards (they are 3" x 3").

I had a lot of fun using Emma's darling 'Small Talk' set for these cards. They make the perfect little note cards! I stamped the borders in chocolate and the sentiments in red. I think these would be fun to tuck in my daughter's backpack or lunch on occasion. Great size for a little note!

The darling faces on the lady bugs and the eyes on the hedgehogs are from the new Peachy Keen Stamps face set called 'Winter Wonderland.' In fact thanks to Peachy Keen Stamps I am giving a set of these 'Winter Wonderland' faces away this week. Just make sure and comment on one or all of my Peachy Keen Stamp projects for this week while I am a Guest Designer (on my blog and on the Peachy Keen Blog)!

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer Day 3

Wow, this week is flying by. I'm already half way through my Peachy dream come true designer spot. For today's back to school project I made some backpack shaped treat containers.

So those are the fronts and here are the backs of the backpacks:

The backpack pattern comes from a Cricut Cartridge called 'Life's a Party'. I first saw this backpack container on my friend, Simply Pam's blog. If you are interested in seeing a video tutorial on it click HERE, and you can go to her blog post.

Now onto the details for each of these...

This one was made using textured cardstock. I cut the container out and then I made my own patterned paper by stamping it with BEAUTIFUL sentiments off of PK-851 Teacher Says! Phrases & Faces. This set is AWESOME. As a mom I am all for having these kinds of encouraging sentiments on hand. I was going with a star theme on this one, so for my home made patterned paper I filled in with some awesome star stamps from Market Street Stamps' 'Blast Off' stamp set. And yes, that darling star in the front is a Peachy Keen Stamp. All I did was cut out a star from George and Basic Shapes at 2.25" and this darling 'You are a star...' stamp fits perfectly inside.

For this backpack, I started with a basic piece of patterned cardstock. I stamped it randomly with the same 'Teachers Says! Phrases & Faces.' However, I also incorporated a few stamps from Emma's 'My Teacher Rocks!' set. I cut an apple from the Create a Critter cartridge and stamped it with one of the adorable faces that comes with the 'Teacher Says! Phrases & Faces.'

I want you to see just how cute this set is, so here is a picture of it...

I'm not a school teacher, but I think this set is PERFECT. Plus it comes with 3 adorable 'Basic Paperdoll Faces.' Love it!

Okay, I won't keep you any longer for today. Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a FABULOUS day! And thank you so much for all your sweet comments. They have been so fun to read! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 2

Hello friends, welcome to day 2 of my Peachy Keen Guest Designer Week. Today is the beginning of a new sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog and I am BEYOND thrilled to be designing along with the Peachy Keen Stamps Design Team. They are so talented, incredibly sweet and wonderful ladies. I am happy to say that I draw much inspiration from each of them and consider them dear friends!

For this sketch challenge there is a twist and that twist is to use BUTTONS somewhere on your project. Sticking with my 'Back to School' theme, I made an altered notebook for my daughter. This will be her 'School Journal' where she can practice her spelling words, write stories, draw pictures, etc.

Here is the beautiful sketch we are working with for this challenge! Don't forget to use BUTTONS when you join in the fun!

Here are a couple of closeups so you can see the details a little better.

Aren't these apples buttons ADORABLE? I fell in love with them and yes, I even stamped one of them with a Simple Sallies face.

I used the Snow Cuties Face for the girl's darling face, I used Simple Sallies for the face on the one little apple and I used the Extra Small Polka Dots for the polka dot print on my girl's shirt (I heat embossed it). All of these beautiful stamps are in the Peachy Keen store.

I also used Emma's My Teacher Rocks! stamp set for both the little note in the girl's hand as well as the homework list on the chalk board. And last, but not least I used the beautiful Woodgrain background stamp from Market Street Stamps for the wood grain on the chalkboard. All of these stamps are manufactured by Peachy Keen Stamps and they are the best quality! I LOVE them!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! I appreciate all of you taking the time to support and encourage me. I hope that I do a little of the same in return. Have a wonderful day! HUGS- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer - Day 1

Hello, Peachy Keen Friends. Today is the first day of my guest designer spot for Peachy Keen Stamps and I'm thrilled. When I realized that my Peachy Keen Guest Designer Week and the start of school (in my neck of the woods) would coincide it seemed only natural to plan 'back to school' projects. At the time I didn't realize how popular that theme was going to be this month. Nevertheless, I'm VERY excited to share with you some fun projects that I made with a 'back to school' theme in mind.

Today, I have one of my favorite kinds of cards to share with you. I call it a spinner card and was originally inspired to make this kind of card when I saw THIS card on Nikki (Scrappin' Navy Wife's) blog. I have a picture tutorial for this kind of card HERE if you are interested in making one of these yourself. If you do make one, let me know I'd love to come and see it!

So here is the first face of my back to school girl:

I had to start with this sad face because I have to admit that the very first day of school can be scary or sad at first for the child (in my case for the MOM)! But don't worry because it gets better, as you turn the dial...

You  get a smiley face. Yes, the little girl finds out that school really is fun and she is having a great time (and that makes this whole school thing easier for Mom too) and then turn the dial one last time and we find...

This little girl leaves school SO happy and she is super excited just thinking about the next day!

Don't those darling faces just bring this girl to LIFE?! I seriously LOVE my Peachy Keen Stamps to pieces. For this project I used one of my favorite sets called Wide Eyed Kids. I also used the adorable Princess Face stamps.

The darling Back to School sentiment is from the My Teacher Rocks! stamp set by My Creative Time as well as that cute stitched circle in the corner. It is from the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die set (I just cut it down to fit in the corner).

Here is a VERY short video just showing how the card looks as you turn the dial. If you are interested in the picture tutorial on making this card click HERE.

The prize for this week, which was generously donated by Peachy Keen Stamps, is the new Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.

If you leave a comment here and on the Peachy Keen Stamps Home page each day this week, you will have up to 10 chances to win these adorable stamps. I will be drawing the winner on Saturday, August 27th. Good luck and thanks for stopping by today! I hope to see you tomorrow! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time's August Stamp release BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the My Creative Time August Stamp Release BLOG HOP! If you came here from Katie's Blog you are in the right place, if not make sure you start at Emma's Blog so that you won't miss a bit of information or inspiration.

For my card project today I used the 'Mixed Holiday Greetings' and the 'Fancy Frame Stamp and Die Set.'

I had so much fun making this card. I used Core'dinations Cardstock for everything except for the peach and black paper. I inked all of the edges before assembling and those darling scare-crow faces are Peachy Keen Stamps, this particular set is no longer available for purchase but believe there are others available that will make darling scarecrow faces. I used the beautiful Fancy Frame and Die Set (I just cut it in half which was something I had seen my design team sister Katie do before). For the co-ordinating stamp for this die I only inked up some of the dots so that the sentiment would fit without covering the dots. Other than that, I added some chalk to the cheeks and a little bit of doodling and voila, a fun card for the upcoming fall.

Here are the pictures of Emma's New Releases that I used on this project:
