Happy Birthday Tutu You!

Here is a more detailed look at another card from the Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog Hop.

The card base comes from the Create a Critter cartridge sized at 4.25 x 5.5". The background rectangle was hand cut at 3.5" x 4.75". This cute ballerina alligator came from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cartridge, I cut her at 4". The sentiment for this card come from the June 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamp. The perfect little face came from the Funshine Faces Side Views stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I used some Stickles and bling to add some fun sparkle. All of the papers are Core'dinations and the white background paper is pre-embossed. All of the edges are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I also did a lot of faux stitching with my Sakura GellyRoll Pen.

Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time's Design Team Day - Teal, Red and Chocolate Chip!

***If you are looking for my Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer Day 3 post, scroll down or click HERE. If you are looking for my Day 4 post you can see it HERE***

Hello creative friends! Welcome to another My Creative Time Design Team Thursday! Today we are all making cards using the colors teal, red and chocolate chip!!! What a fun color combo. Make sure you drop by Emma's blog to see what she and my design team sisters have made. Here are my mini note cards (they are 3" x 3").

I had a lot of fun using Emma's darling 'Small Talk' set for these cards. They make the perfect little note cards! I stamped the borders in chocolate and the sentiments in red. I think these would be fun to tuck in my daughter's backpack or lunch on occasion. Great size for a little note!

The darling faces on the lady bugs and the eyes on the hedgehogs are from the new Peachy Keen Stamps face set called 'Winter Wonderland.' In fact thanks to Peachy Keen Stamps I am giving a set of these 'Winter Wonderland' faces away this week. Just make sure and comment on one or all of my Peachy Keen Stamp projects for this week while I am a Guest Designer (on my blog and on the Peachy Keen Blog)!

I also wanted to enter these in the Let's Face it Friday Challenge over at Peachy Keen. For this challenge we were to use animals.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope it is a wonderful day for you!

Tweet-y Congratulations

I made this little bird congratulations card for my nephew and his wife. They will be having a baby girl next month. My one and a half year old liked the birds so much that she tore part of it off. I tried to fix it, and it looks alright, I just wish I had kept it out of her reach. Oh well, hopefully I will know better for next time.

This is a window card, the little canary birds are actually on the second page. You can kind of see it in this next picture.

All the cuts for this card, including the scalloped card were from the Zooballoo Cricut cartridge. The stamps for the eyes are from Peachy Keen Stamps - Funshine Faces Side View. I made this card for My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday challenge.

If you want a good laugh, read my previous post or click here. This is the funny entry my husband submitted for the "next big thing." Enjoy!
