My daughter's teacher just had a birthday and she loves bears. I found this cute teddy bear cupcake file that I had picked up from Lettering Delights a while back. The set is called Nancy's Party and it is adorable. I used the teddy bear cupcake and made a cute little shape card with my Silhouette Cameo machine.
The sentiment comes from the Peachy Keen Stamps January 2013 Stamp Kit of the Month, The eyes came from the Everyday Character Faces 1.75" and the nose and mouth came from the Everyday Character Face Parts (all of which are no longer available for purchase). However, there are some very cute Teddy Bear Assortment Face Stamps that are still available (I have them and love them, they were just too small for my project). I wanted to make this card double sided so here is what it looks like opened up. I think it is kind of fun.

I bet you can hardly believe that I've had 3 posts in 3 days, me either ;). Today my friend Pam and I are having our cut challenge. For the first time we are using an SVG cut with our Silhouettes instead of a Cricut cut. We both have a Cricut and a Silhouette Cameo so I would imagine we will start doing a mix of cuts from both machines.
I chose the cut because I LOVE it and I have a ton of birthday cards I need to be making. This one will be for one of my nieces. This cut was one of Miss Kate Cuttables Freebie of Day cuts. It is no longer free but it can be purchased for 50 cents HERE. It is called Birthday Bear. I was SO impressed with how well the Silhouette Cameo cut the balloon string. It is so thin and cut BEAUTIFULLY.
I had heard all of these people raving about American Crafts cardstock and got some for a great deal recently. I really loved how it cut in the Cameo and I loved how easy it was to stamp on even with its pretty texture.
I used PK-496 Everyday Character Face Parts by Peachy Keen Stamps to stamp my cute bear's face. I filled in the white spaces with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen and added some glossy accents to the eyes and nose. The adorable sentiment is from another Peachy Keen stamp set called PK-161 Happy Birthday BIG. It has a HUGE happy birthday sentiment and two smaller sized cute 'bear' birthday sentiments. I stamped this bear sentiment on the outside and the other bear sentiment on the inside. The piece I stamped the sentiment on is a die by My Creative Time. It is from the Build a Banner Kit I just lengthened it out to fit my sentiment. Then I added a seam binding bow to my bear and I was done. I hope you enjoyed my card. Hello friends. Are you ready for another Monday Madness... Imagine That with My Creative Time? Emma and some of us Design Team members have some Imagine (or Imagine like) projects for you today using the colors, black, gray & pink.
Te he he, I had so much fun making this little cutie! When I thought of the color combo and the Happy Mail stamp set I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I also used the Embossed Envelope die by My Creative Time. This card makes me happy, I hope you like it too.
She is about 4.5" tall, so really a little bit big for even the extra large Critter Faces by PKS. So I used my Everyday Character Face Parts in the 7-9" for the eyes (I stamped each eye separately so that I could widen them for the cut). Then for the nose-mouth I used the Extra Large Critter Faces.
Here is a card that I made for the Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge - oops, looks like I missed the deadline by 10 minutes. Oh well, I guess I should follow my card's advice... so I won't worry and I will be happy.

This project came about as a request from my sweet sister-in-law. She sent me a picture of a monkey wind twister and wanted to know if I could make something similar to it with my Gypsy. Here is what I came up with:
This thing is really LONG, it is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet long (maybe longer, I still need to measure it). It has two intersecting tree limbs, a long swirly vine and a double sided monkey stamped with darling Peachy Keen Stamps all interconnected with baker's twine.
This was A LOT of fun to make. I will definitely be making more in the future.

This is the card that I made for my nephew's birthday.
I made my own patterned paper for this card. I used some glossy stamping paper and the super cute Robo Star stamp by Market Street Stamps. I used my Versamark ink pad and then added some white embossing powder. I heat set the embossing and then with a sponge and some different shades of red and orange ink I sponged the background. I haven't used this technique in a really long time. I forgot how much I like it.
The little robot from B is Boy Cricut Lite cartridge is attached to an Action Wobble. I didn't have time to make a short video, but I'm pretty sure most of you can imagine it wobbling back and forth saying "Smile, it's your birthday," in robot language. Thanks for stopping by. First of all I have to share my SUPER exciting news! I've known for almost a week, but Emma (My Creative Time) decided to do a design team and she chose me along with 7 other talented crafters. Can I just say that the fact that she chose me has put me on cloud 9. She is one of the sweetest crafters around. She was the second 'follower' of my blog (my sweet husband was the first). She is amazingly talented and so positive and encouraging towards other crafters. Oh and did I mention that she just came out with some super adorable sentiment stamps! This is going to be an awesome team to be on. I can't wait for my 3 month adventure! THANKS SO much to Miss EMMA!!!!

I had already made this little puppy valentine card last Sunday. I wanted to share it now because I think they make a super cute set. This dog and cat come from the Sweethearts cartridge, and in my opinion, they are not all that cute with the faces they come with, but add a Peachy Keen Stamps face and they are SERIOUSLY about the CUTEST things on earth!

I wanted to make an encouragement card for a sweet neighbor. It has been cold, grey and snowy here. I thought this card might brighten her day.
This card is also my submission for the current Peachy Keen Challenge. I used Everyday Face Parts for the Sunshine's face. I used an Action Wobble on the sunshine. I thought it would make the card even more fun and playful. I think it worked :). This ADORABLE sentiment stamp is by Pink By Design's Take the Cake stamp set. This set is so cute. And some of the sentiments such as this one can be used for other occasions besides birthdays.

I've been wanting to make a gingerbread girl card for a while. One of my favorite Gingerbread man shapes is the one on the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge. Emma at My Creative Time had a challenge using this cartridge and here is my gingerbread girl to add to all of the other cute ginger people creations that were made for this challenge.

This card is one that I hope I don't need to make again. My niece went to a college hockey game and got hit in the side of the head with a puck that came out of bounds. The poor girl ended up with 30 something stitches and a very sore ear/jaw area. She has been a good sport about the whole thing and we are just thankful that she didn't get hurt worse than she did.

I made this card for a sweet neighbor who has shingles for the second time in a month. She has been asking for some crab and lobster. I have never had crab or lobster and know nothing about preparing them. However, I can make them out of paper. So, that is what she will get, along with some cookies. I made a scrapbook page! I can hardly believe it. I haven't taken the time to scrapbook for a while. The Peachy Keen "Let's Face It" challenge was to make a card or scrapbook page showcasing your muse (inspiration). I have inspiration that comes from all sorts of people, things and places. However, my greatest source of inspiration is my husband. He inspires me and he supports me in everything I do, and I love him SO much. So, this is for you, sweetheart!

This little project is for Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Challenge #1. My container is the Easter basket from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I just tweaked the scallops for ghosts and pumpkins on my Gypsy. Here is a view of the front of the basket.

My little great-nephew is celebrating his 1st birthday today. He is such a cutie and he LOVES trains. This card just came to me and I LOVE how it turned out. I hope he likes it too.
I used the following items for this card: The train and monkey came from Create-a-Critter, the #1 candle is from Sweet Treats, the monkey's cute little stamped face is from none other than Peachy Keen Stamps. I mixed parts from two different sets to make the face. I used PK-493 (Everyday Character Face Parts) for the nose and mouth and I used PK-573 (Basic Paper Doll Faces) for the eyes. I also used my Versamarker to highlight the edges, my black marker for some dotting, some stamps for the sentiments and some brads for the train wheels.
I saw the saying "Merry Christ-mouse" and an idea came to mind. I had to get it designed and put together. It was fun. I hope you like it (even if Christmas is over 4 1/2 months away :)). It never hurts to get a head start on Christmas cards right? I might actually get some sent out this year if I start making them now.
I saw the saying Merry Christ-mouse in a line of stamps by Sarah Pink Cricut. The mouse is from Animal Kingdom, the santa hat is from Paperdoll Dress-Up, the scarf is from Everyday Paper Dolls, and the candy cane is from Christmas Cheer. The face is stamped on with Peachy Keen Stamps - they have the BEST stamps EVER. They just make everything so much cuter! I cut the Santa hat 3 times and cut the pieces apart so I could fun flock and layer the pieces, I also used fun flock for the scarf. This card was lots of fun to make.
Well it has been a wonderful Easter weekend with family, Easter celebrations, General Conference and SNOW. Yes, snow... I need a little springtime warmth at the moment, so it is time to share my butterfly shape card. This was a birthday card for my niece that just turned 4.
This butterfly is from the New Arrival cricut cartridge. She is cut in blackout so I could stamp her cute face with my Peachy Keen Stamps (I used PK-495). A happy birthday stamp, some outline doodling, rosey cheeks, a little bling and voila.
