Tulips for Mother's Day

I made this card for my sweet Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.

I used lots of My Creative Time products on this and all of the paper is from PaperTrey Ink. For my 3x4 shape card I used the following My Creative Time products: The Stitched Grass Die (grass), the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die (shape card), Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies (tulips and stems), the Stitched Sweetheart and XOXO Dies (hearts inside the flowers), and the Cartoon Cloud Background stamp.

I used the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die for my gift card and the sentiment comes from the More Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.

This is the card with it's coordinating envelope. The Stitched 3x4 Journal die fits perfectly inside the Scallop Stitched Envelope Die. I added another Tulip and then some sentiments from the Mom, You Rock stamp set.

I'm entering this for the current challenge over at My Creative Time. The challenge is to make a project for Mother's Day with at least one flower on it.

MCT 27th Release Blog Hop

I have a pretty simple project for you today. I used some of the new items and some of the old to make a little mini postcard (shape card) to send with a Christmas gift to some of my sweet friends in France.

Here is a rundown of all of the My Creative Time products that I used for this card and envelope. For dies I used the existing Stitched 3x4 Journal Die and the Stitched Heart Layering Dies. Then I also used the new Scallop Stitched Envelope Die (I love that cute little envelope). I also used several new and old stamps. The older stamp sets I used are Beary Special Thoughts (for the bear) and Warm Holiday Fun (for the stocking). The new stamp sets that I used were the Build a Postcard and the Postcard Add-Ons.
