It's a FROZEN Celebration!

I just wanted to share a fun poster and some cake decorations that I made. I love how these turned out and I hope you do too.

Here is the poster:

I used some new files from Lettering Delights for this poster. They are called Ice Princess and Ice Princess Party. I used the print feature of my Silhouette Cameo for these and I just hid the faces so I could stamp them with some Peachy Keen Face stamps. I used the Princess Face Assortment.

And for the cake:

For this one I used the same Lettering Delight Files along with the print and cut feature on my Silhouette. I once again stamped their faces with the Princess Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I also used a bunch of awesome My Creative Time products on here. Emma came out with her Winter Flake Dies just in time. I also used the Build a Banner and All Around Birthday Time sets for the middle snowflake with the '5'. For the banner I used the Teeny Tags Layering Dies and the Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set, also by My Creative Time.

The celebration was a hit. I hope you enjoyed these too. Hugs- Glora

Birthday Tag Set

It is Tag it Tuesday at My Creative Time and we are all making a set of coordinating tags. I decided to make some girl and boy birthday tags, these things always seem to come in handy.

I used a handful of My Creative Time products to make these. I used the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die, the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. For stamp sets I used the All Around Birthday Time, All Around Goodies and the All Around Everything Accessories. I tied the tags off with some pretty colors of Trendy Twine.

Make sure you stop by Emma's Blog to see some more awesome tag sets. Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday Princess with BLING

Hi everyone, there is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time and we are using BLING for the challenge (glitter, gems, sequins, you name it). This was a fun challenge and I hope you will play along at My Creative Time.

I had WAY too much fun with the bling on this. I used the All Around Birthday Time for the crown and sentiment. I heat embossed the crown in silver. I added a little bit of stickles to the crown as well as some adhesive gems. I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circles by My Creative Time. The glittery pink and purple papers are by Core'dinations. The blue is by DCWV. I added a few sequins and gems at the bottom too. This is a super BLINGY and fun birthday card for a girl.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog so you can join in this fun challenge too! Hugs- Glora

Have a Dino-Mite Birthday

Today is Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time. We are all using our scraps and using CIRCLES as our theme.

I have had these embossed circles sitting around for months. I had cut them out as a visual for a church lesson for the children (they were supposed to represent manna). Afterwards I couldn't just throw them away and I was trying to decide what to do with them. When this challenge came up I was determined to use them. I used the All Around Birthday Time stamp set along with the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies by My Creative Time.

I had a lot of fun with this and look forward to making a card just out of my scraps again soon! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time 3D Wednesday - BIRTHDAY

Hello. It is time for another My Creative Time 3D Wednesday and today all of our projects are going to have a birthday theme to them.

I thought I would throw together a couple of simple but nice birthday favors/gifts. Emma's products make this SO easy to do. For my first project I made a little hand sanitizer holder.

All I did was use the My Creative Time Stitched Lollipop Holder, The Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies, I used the All Around Birthday Time stamp set for the sentiment and Anyday Bingo and Crossword for the cute little cupcake. Then I accented with some Stickles and twine and voila I was done. Super easy.

My next project is a little treat box.

For this one I used the Bubblegum Treat Box Die, The Stitched Circle Die and the All Around Birthday Time stamp set. I heat embossed the crown with silver embossing powder and added a few gems and a little bit of Stickles to it. I also used some pretty twine to tie the sides together. Again super easy but cute.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog for TONS of birthday inspiration! And don't forget she will be starting her early release on her birthday May 10th! It is an awesome release and you won't want to miss it.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 5

Hello friends. I just got back from Disneyland and so I'm just joining in the fun of Emma's 12 Days of Christmas. If you arrived here from Cindy's blog you are in the right spot. If not make sure to start at Emma's blog.

Today I have a super simple project to share but a great one to make if you have little kids. It is a countdown to Christmas paper chain.

I always used to make these when I was a little kid and my children love them too. All I did was take 2 (12x12) sheets of glittery Core'dinations cardstock. I cut each sheet into 1" strips. Next I looped and stapled the first piece into a chain, then I linked the second one through the first one and stapled it. I continued linking and stapling until I had a link for each of the days until Christmas. I used the little starburst from the Build a Banner kit by My Creative Time as well as the numbers off of the All Around Birthday Time stamp set to finish off my countdown chain.

***12 Days of Christmas Give Away Alert***

My Little Athlete - My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week

Well as I'm sure you know it is another sneak peek week over at My Creative Time. Well today wasn't my day to do a sneak but I couldn't resist sneaking a card in today with the new Sports Sentiments stamp set. I used this set to stamp a sentiment on the little outfit the boy is wearing.

I also made this card for the current Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge that goes through tonight. I used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face stamps for this little boy. I used the largest stamp in the assortment set and the little boy is from Baby Steps (cut at 5"). This card is also an easel card, so here it is opened up.

For the part that keeps the easel up I used Emma's Scallop and Stitched Oval Die set along with stamps from the All Around Birthday Time stamp set. All the patterned paper is by DCWV.

Now make sure to go to Emma's blog if you haven't already so that you can see all of the awesome projects and inspiration from her and the Design Team. Have a great day! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time 3-D Wednesday

Hello My Creative Time friends. Today at My Creative Time we have made 3D projects to share with you. For my project I made a little favor box.

These are really simple to make and just require a square piece of paper and something to score with. In the past I've only made these using 12x12 paper, however for this little one I used a 6x6 piece of paper. If you are interested in a video tutorial on the 12 x 12 size my friend Pam has a great one HERE.

I used Emma's All Around Birthday Time stamp set for the truffle and the round sentiment and I used her Scallop and Stitched Circle dies as well. The pretty ribbon is from the Celebrate It Sheer Creations ribbon line at Michaels. My friend Cassandra told me about it and I love it.

If you are interested in making these in different sizes I will give you some measurements below that might help you out (you can watch Pam's video HERE, if you don't already know how to make these, and then just adjust your paper size and score marks as stated below):

*The original 12x12 size is scored at 4" and 8" (when completed the base and each side panel is 4"x4")

*For a 6"x6" piece of paper score at 2" and 4" (when completed the base and each side panel is 2"x2")

*For a 7.5"x7.5" piece of paper score at 2.5" and 5" (when completed the base each side panel is 2.5"x 2.5")

*For a 9"x9" piece of paper score at 3" and 6" (when completed the base and each side panel is 3"x3")

And if you want to make a really tiny one...
take a 3"x3" piece of paper and score at 1" and 2" (when completed the base and each side panel is 1"x 1")

Some Exciting News!!!

Hello sweet crafting friends! I'm SUPER excited to tell you that I am beyond THANKFUL and THRILLED to have been asked by Emma to continue on her My Creative Time Design Team for another term. I love working with Emma she is seriously the best crafty boss I know. She is AMAZING! I LOVE Emma's stamps and dies and I'm thrilled to continue creating with them as well. I also love the friendships that are made being on Emma's team and can't wait to get to know the new members of the team!!!

Emma wanted me to share a little bit about myself.

My name is Glora. I have an amazing and supportive husband and I am the mother of two darling girls. I LOVE staying home full time with my girls and working part time as an accountant. I'm an active member of my church and I play the piano during singing time for the children (3-12 years old). It is the BEST! A friend of mine teaches Zumba and I've been doing it 2-3 times a week for about 16 months. It is seriously addicting and I love it! I am a total and absolute Disney nut and can never get enough of that either!

In my spare time I like to be creating. I've paper crafted for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to the Cricut over 4 years ago and was hooked. A couple of years later I started to find crafting blogs to follow. This introduced me to the awesome world of Peachy Keen Stamps. I fell in LOVE with their stamps immediately. It was through Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog that I found Emma at My Creative Time. I was always excited to learn from Emma and when she started up her Throwback Thursday Challenges I just HAD to join in the fun as often as possible! Last December Emma announced her new stamp line and I was thrilled. I instantly fell in love with her stamp style. They were the best around, in my opinion, so when she asked me to be on her design team I could not believe it!!! It was a dream come true! I'm SO thankful for Emma and for all of you as well. I'm so inspired by each of you and your creative ideas and talents. It is a blessing to call so many of you my friends!

Emma also asked me to create a project to share with you. I decided to use mostly stamps from the October release for this fun little gift bag.

Birthday Boy Balloon and Winner

***If you are looking for my project for the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge scroll down of click HERE***

Hi friends. Today, I'm sharing a birthday card for one of my nephews but also my entry for the Let's Face it Friday Challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.

I made a shaped card with a hot air balloon shadow off of the Pop-Up Neighborhood Cricut cartridge. I cut all the balloon layers out at the 5.25" size. I cut the little boy out of the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge and he was cut at 1.75" and luckily my very smallest size of Winter Wonderland face stamps (from Peachy Keen Stamps) fit him perfectly. I also added lots of faux stitching with my Gellyroll pens. The darling sentiment and dinosaur are from Emma's new All Around Birthday Time stamp set and the circle it is stamped on is the circle die from her Scallop & Stitched Circle Die set.

I also wanted to announce the winner from my stop on the My Creative Time Blog Hop.

The winner is:

TyTynNiyasmom

she said: What a cute banner! I love all the details you put into it. Candace

I have already contacted her and the All Around Accessories set will be on its way to her VERY soon.

Thanks for stopping by today. Make it a beautiful day! Hugs- Glora

MCT October Stamp Release Sneak #4

Hi My Creative Time friends. We are on our last day of sneak peeks and the new release blog hop will be tomorrow!!! For our final set we are all showcasing a set called All Around Birthday Time. This set coordinates with the Scalloped & Stitched Circle dies. I makes lots of birthday cards and I'm loving this set.

Here is my card for today:

The sentiment and smaller pirate flag are from the new All Around Birthday Time. The bigger flag is from the All Around Accessories set. I just added a little hand cut flag pole to it. I also used Emma's Scallop & Stitched Circle set. This darling octopus is from the Sea Animals set by Market Street Stamps. His eye patch is just one of the scallop's from Emma's scallop circle die and that hat is from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge (it normally goes with the octopus on that cartridge). The black pattern on the white paper is the Bit of Burlap background stamp by Market Street Stamps.
