PKS January Release Blog Hop

Whoo Hoo!!! It's time! Our Blog Hop is officially underway! We are thrilled to bring you our latest release available now in our shop!

The designs this month were inspired by the classic nursery rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" and a sweet afternoon tea. You'll notice there are plenty of sentiments that would be lovely for Valentine's Day or any day you want to let someone know you're "sweet" on them.

If you didn't hear, we’re switching things up a bit this year, and showcased four days of sneak peeks in the morning (1st – 4th) and are letting you catch up on all the fun at the end of the week with a big blog hop on the 5th!
If you've arrived here from Amber's Blog, you're in the right place. If not, you'll want to make sure you hop back to Peachy Keen Stamps' Blog to start from the beginning! Missed a stop? Don't worry, the PKS blog has the full hop order!

Isn't this fiddling cat a cutie?! All of these images this month are FANTASTIC. Definite must haves in my opinion! Kathy creates darling little characters like none other.

This kitty comes from the Diddle Diddle stamp set. The adorable sentiment is the Hey Diddle Diddle Mini stamp. Aren't they sweet? I used a DCWV mat stack for the embossed background paper. The die that the sentiment is on is by My Creative Time and is called the Stitched XL Label Die and the XL Label Die.

Our biggest excitement is that this year - a reformatted and better-than-ever Stamp Kit of the Month Club! Check out all the details below and sign up here.

Peachy Keen October Release

It is the 3rd day of sneak peeks of the new stamps that will be released over at Peachy Keen Stamps. I have a few projects to share with you using these new stamps.

This card uses two of the add on sets called Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents and Clearly Autumn Pint Jar Contents. For the Die I used the Stitched XL Label Die and the XL Label Die by My Creative Time.

My Gift Card holder is made using only the October 2013 SKOTM. My gift card holder was made using a die by My Creative Time called the Embossed Gift Card Holder.

And this card also uses the October 2013 SKOTM for the sentiment and for the pumpkins and their faces. I used a My Creative Time die called Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag for the tags.

Make sure to check out the Peachy Keen post to see what all the other designers have made. Have a great evening. Hugs- Glora

Church Music Festival Layout

Welcome to another Scrapping the Little Things at My Creative Time. I did a double page layout from my College choir days.

I used some music note washi tape and a whole bunch of My Creative Time items in addition to a couple of programs from the concert.

Here are the pages close up:

For this page I used the following My Creative time products: XL Label Die, Stitched XL Label Die, Stitched Fun Ticket Dies, Just Simply Live, and the new Type Calendar stamp set.

The My Creative Time items I used for this page are: Stitched Fun Ticket Dies, Stitched 3x4 Journal Die (I made it longer in my Cuttlebug), Things I Love, and Treasured Moments.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what everyone else made! Hugs- Glora

Heard You Were Feeling Ruff

It is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and it is an ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE. Just use your Peachy Keen Stamps on whatever your little heart desires and link it up. Easy Peasy!

I could not resist using some of the new stamps from the August 2013 SKOTM. Isn't that puppy SO sweet?! That awesome paw print, bone and dog house background is a new background stamp too! YAY! It is called Dog Background. The sentiment at the bottom is from the new SKOTM as well.

I also used a few My Creative Time dies for this project. I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die for my card base. I used the XL Label Die and the Stitched XL Label Die for the piece behind the dog. And the piece that the sentiment is on is from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies set. Other than that I used some gingham ribbon to tie it off.

I hope you will join in the challenge HERE. I'm excited to see what you make. Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Connection New Release Challenges

The new Peachy Keen Stamps release is now available along with an awesome sale! If you haven't looked yet you will definitely want to check it out HERE. This evening we also started our new release party and  have started up the challenges over on the Peachy Keen Connection. There are some fun challenges and if you play along you have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate, so make sure to join in on the fun.

Challenge #1 is being hosted by Lorie Souther and it is a Christmas in July challenge. The twist on the challenge is to use NON-TRADITIONAL Christmas colors for your project. I made a tag of pink and blue:

For this tag I used Smitten Mittens by Peachy Keen Stamps. The tags are some dies by Emma at My Creative Time and they are called XL Label Die and Stitched XL Label Die. The pretty seam binding ribbon and hemp twine are from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Challenge #2 is being hosted by Cindy and it is a Summer Vacation themed project.

I couldn't get this card out of my head when I was thinking about the challenge so I just had to make it up. We used to pack up all 10 of us (8 children and my parents) in our station wagon, dad would pack the luggage on top and then we would head out on our summer vacation. We had all sorts of adventures and this brings back a lot of memories.

I recently got the Stringbeans collection from Lettering Delights. They are SO cute (especially with a Peachy Keen Face). I'm excited to use these files some more. The Station Wagon is also from Lettering Delights and is called Stringbean Wagon (it was their freebie of the week a week ago but now you can purchase it HERE). The suitcases are called Stacked Suitcases and are by Miss Kate's Cuttables. All of these are SVG's cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I hid the face on the man and stamped it with the Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. The "Happy Trails Sentiment" comes for the Peachy Keen Stamps, Happy Trails Spaceship. The brown piece it is stamped on is a die from My Creative Time. It is part of a set called Just Simply Live.

Please come on over and join in the fun!!!! Hugs- Glora

Don't forget about the awesome sales over at Peachy Keen Stamps.

And next week will be the start of My Creative Time's 25th release and believe me it is a good one! Make sure to join us for that too.

MCT February Release - Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome to the 2nd day of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks. Today we are using the Fun Tickets and Fun Ticket Dies. I also used the new Stitched Buttons Dies from the new release.

My parents always do a Valentine's Party at their house. The kids play games, earn tickets and redeem them for prizes. These dies are going to be perfect for making my parents some new tickets but also perfect to use on a layout for some pictures of my kids at one of the previous parties.

Here is a close up of one of the Stitched Button Dies as well as the Fun Ticket Dies and Fun Ticket stamp set.

I also made a card with the Fun Ticket Stamps and Dies. My work had recently given me a movie theater gift card so I could take my family to a movie. I wanted to send them a thank you card for it and I thought the thank you ticket would be perfect on a bucket of movie theater popcorn.

This popcorn shape card is my entry for the current Peachy Keen Anything Goes Challenge. I LOVE the way this ticket stamp and die looks on my shape card. The popcorn bucket is from the County Fair Cricut cartridge. I added some Peachy Keen Stamps The Cornies faces to the extra buttery pieces of popcorn. As I was working on this card it seemed to me that I had seen someone else use these same faces on some popcorn before. I thought it was probably Gigi the CricutBug so I just went to her blog to check and it was. She did a darling little movie night gift bag that you should check out (HERE).

And one last little thing I did using these stamps and dies...

Some 'free treat tickets' for my parents to include in their Valentine's for their grandkids. We all live close by so when they come and redeem their ticket mom & dad will have a yummy treat for them.

Thanksgiving Prayer

Happy Monday! It is my day to post over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and I wanted to share a Thanksgiving card that I made. I truly have so much to be thankful for and this Thanksgiving prayer just says it beautifully.

I used the Lil' Tweets - Thanksgiving set for the sentiment and the bird. I colored him with some Copic Markers and did a little accenting with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen. The Thanksgiving prayer is mounted on the XL Label Die by My Creative Time (there is also a little sneak peek of a new die coming out soon). I added a wooden button and some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique to my bow. Then I finished it off with a little faux stitching around the edges.

I hope you all will have a safe and happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Hugs- Glora

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I know, Valentine's Day hasn't even come and gone yet... but I got my beautiful Peachy Keen stamps in the mail and could not wait to start playing with them. So I imagine you will be seeing a fair share of St Patty day projects mixed in with my Valentine ones for a bit.

Anyway, I think this is the CUTEST leprechaun I have ever seen so I just had to make him up. Seriously, it seemed like he was just smiling at me daring me not to stamp and color him ;).

Do you see that beautiful patterned paper. It is a brand new Peachy Keen Stamps background stamp called Lucky Day Shamrock. I used my favorite background stamp technique and I stamped it with a watermark ink pad. Then I sprinkled it with CLEAR embossing powder, heated it up with my heat gun and VOILA a beautiful, glossy, embossed background. The cute little leprechaun and sentiment come from the Kiss Me Leprechaun stamp set. And for the golden colored piece behind the leprechaun I cut out Emma's XL Label Die and stamped it with one of the coordinating XL Label Border stamps.

Okay that is it for today. I hope you are having a wonderful and lucky day! Take care! Hugs- Glora

What I used for this project was Emma's XL Label Die for the banner pieces and the XL Label Border stamps for the perfect stitched trim on them. The gingers are from the Faceless Gingerbread Doll Large set. I just got these recently and HAD to make sure that I used them before Christmas! I paper pieced and inked everything and then added some chalk and glossy accents. I used some old Sizzix letter dies for the letters and I tied everything together with some pretty twine from The Twinery. I hope you like it and I hope that you have enjoyed the 12 days of Christmas at My Creative Time!

Some Exciting News!!!

Hello sweet crafting friends! I'm SUPER excited to tell you that I am beyond THANKFUL and THRILLED to have been asked by Emma to continue on her My Creative Time Design Team for another term. I love working with Emma she is seriously the best crafty boss I know. She is AMAZING! I LOVE Emma's stamps and dies and I'm thrilled to continue creating with them as well. I also love the friendships that are made being on Emma's team and can't wait to get to know the new members of the team!!!

Emma wanted me to share a little bit about myself.

My name is Glora. I have an amazing and supportive husband and I am the mother of two darling girls. I LOVE staying home full time with my girls and working part time as an accountant. I'm an active member of my church and I play the piano during singing time for the children (3-12 years old). It is the BEST! A friend of mine teaches Zumba and I've been doing it 2-3 times a week for about 16 months. It is seriously addicting and I love it! I am a total and absolute Disney nut and can never get enough of that either!

In my spare time I like to be creating. I've paper crafted for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to the Cricut over 4 years ago and was hooked. A couple of years later I started to find crafting blogs to follow. This introduced me to the awesome world of Peachy Keen Stamps. I fell in LOVE with their stamps immediately. It was through Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog that I found Emma at My Creative Time. I was always excited to learn from Emma and when she started up her Throwback Thursday Challenges I just HAD to join in the fun as often as possible! Last December Emma announced her new stamp line and I was thrilled. I instantly fell in love with her stamp style. They were the best around, in my opinion, so when she asked me to be on her design team I could not believe it!!! It was a dream come true! I'm SO thankful for Emma and for all of you as well. I'm so inspired by each of you and your creative ideas and talents. It is a blessing to call so many of you my friends!

Emma also asked me to create a project to share with you. I decided to use mostly stamps from the October release for this fun little gift bag.

My Creative Time's October Stamp release BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the October My Creative Time Stamp Release Blog Hop! If you came here via the amazing Katie you are in the right spot, if not make sure you go to Emma's blog and get the whole hop in because you aren't going to want to miss a chance of winning some of these darling stamps.

For my project I'm showcasing the All Around Accessories set. I also used the XL Label Border stamps being released today and the XL Label Die. For my project I made another vertical banner. Hey, what can I say I'm getting ahead on my holiday decorating ;).

Here it is:

Here is a close up of the darling Santa suit, I used Fun Flock for the red and the white parts so that it is really soft and fuzzy. I love the way it feels, unfortunately a tiny bit of the red got on some of the white (even though I did them at separate times) but I still like it:

I also added Fun Flock to the Ho Ho Ho (don't you just want to reach through the screen and touch it - LOL)...

Well, that's it for my project for today. Short and sweet so you can get on your way hopping along :).

***GIVEAWAY ALERT***
