Say Cheese Layout

It is Scrappin' the Little Things over at My Creative Time and I decided to work on another Disney Layout.

I cut out the film strip piece and Mickey Icons with My Cricut from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge. I used stickers for all of the Mickey and Minnie images. Everything else I used for this are products by My Creative Time. I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die, The Stitched Tab Die, the Stitched Camera Die and the Things I Love... stamp set.

Here is a close up of the top left corner.

Make sure to check out all of the other Scrappin' the Little Thing projects at My Creative Time! Hugs- Glora

Monday Madness... Imagine That using Red, White and Black

Hello My Creative Time friends. Welcome to another Monday Madness.. Imagine That. Today we are using our Imagine machines if we have them otherwise we use patterned paper and make Imagine like projects. The colors we are using today are red, white and black which to me spell DISNEY!!! Yes, if you don't know me already I'm a total Disney nut and love to sneak a little Disney touch into some of my projects.

Anyway, here is my card for today:

Minnie was cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge at 5.5". The perfect sentiment is from Emma's Just a Little Note to Say stamp set. I love how this turned out and I hope you like it too. Make sure to stop by Emma's blog and see what she and some of the other design team members have in store for you. Have a terrific day!!! Hugs- Glora

Disney Halloween Toss Across

Another quick post. My mom does a Halloween carnival - party for all of her grandchildren. She had an old Toss Across game that she wanted converted into a Halloween game. The kids loved it, so I would say it was worth all the time that it took to get the original X's and O's off. Enjoy!

Have a great day!

Happy Halloween Mickey Pumpkin

Just a real quick post today. My friend Tami, told me that I needed to do another card with my Mickey pumpkin. I've been planning on doing it all month and finally got around to it. Enjoy!

For this pumpkin I used my Gypsy along with Mickey and Friends and Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge. The polka dot paper is PaperTrey Ink and the twin is from Trendy Twine. The beautiful happy Halloween sentiment is from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set by My Creative Time.

HERE is a LINK to my other Mickey pumpkin card. Have a great day! Hugs- Glora

Everyday Cricut Day 3

This is a copy of my 3rd day project over on Everyday Cricut. If you have seen it wonderful, this is just a repeat, if not... ENJOY :).

Hello, wonderful Everyday Cricut Fans. This is Glora from Glora's Crafts and I am having so much fun being your Guest Designer this week. You are awesome fans. Thanks for your sweet comments. I've loved reading every single one.

Today I want to share a few things that I LOVE. First of all if you are not a Disney fan, I apologize in advance. I am a total Disney nut and love everything about it. I also love Core'dinations cardstock. I love the texture, the colors and the way it cuts in my Cricut! I am addicted to twine and ribbon of all sorts. The more the better. And I absolutely LOVE My Creative Time stamps and dies. True, I am on Emma's design team, but I would honestly LOVE these stamps and dies even if I weren't. Emma has an AMAZING eye for detail and design and I fell in love with her stamps the instant I saw the first sets that she was releasing.

And so with a little history of some things that I love, here is my card for today:

I cut Mickey in a chocolate brown instead of black because I wanted to keep with my fall colors. All of the paper is Core'dinations except for the card base and the peach (skin) color. Mickey is from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge and this beautiful leaf frame is cut at 5.25 inches from the Pooh and Friends cartridge. Even if you are not a Disney fan, these cartridges have a lot of extras images, frames, and such that you can make some beautiful projects with.

For the sentiment I used This and That by My Creative Time. I also used the Stitched Oval Die by My Creative Time. This die fits so many sentiments perfectly!!! I keep reaching for it over and over again.

I added a couple of brads and a little bit of twine along with a little doodling with my white gel pen and I was finished.

If you are a total Disney nut like me and would like to see a couple of my favorite Disney cards I will give you a link. I have a fun Mickey jack-o-lantern HERE and a cute Mickey Snowman HERE.

True Love Lasts Forever

I have another anniversary card for my parents to share with you today. This one is a larger one (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) so that everyone could write a little note in it for my parents. The sentiments are all from My Creative Time's 'You Had me at Chocolate' stamp set. I LOVE this set SO much. I've used it for way more than Valentine's cards.

Oh yes, and several of you asked about the clip art I used yesterday. They still have an active site and you can still purchase several of there clip art packages to download on your computer. I will put a link on yesterday's post, and I will also leave you a link HERE.

Thanks for dropping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful Independence Day weekend. Hugs- Glora

What Time Is It? It's Crafting Time!

I thought I would post a picture of what I made for my family for Christmas 3 years ago. I found some clocks on clearance at Staples and transformed them using: Disney Sandy Lion patterned paper, the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge, the Mickey Mouse font cartridge, my Cricut and some adhesive. I made 9 of these in all - they were a little time consuming, but not too bad considering I cut the pieces for each part at the same time. It definitely made things go much faster.

Voila - a Glora's Crafts original clock - featuring none other but Mickey Mouse!

My Creative Time's Design Team Day using a sketch

Hello and thanks for dropping by. For today's design team post Emma gave a sketch to work with and we were to create either a layout or a card. Here is the sketch we had to work with:

So I had this idea to make a LO and everything evolved from there. This is the part of my layout that looks like the sketch:

Here is the picture of the whole LO. You can click on the pictures if you would like to see them zoomed in a little more.

The Mickey ribbon going across is supposed to be a 'camera strap.' I also had a lot of fun making my own background paper. I used my HUGE acrylic block from Market Street Stamps and layered EVERY stamp from Emma's Camera Shy stamp set in a rectangular pattern. I added just a couple of small stamps from the Mom You Rock and You're My Best Buddy stamp sets to even things out. Then I inked it up and stamped it on my background. It took 4 times inking it up and stamping it to cover the entire red paper. I LOVED how it turned out. For the white background I used the "Seeing Spots" Cuttlebug embossing folder. I also stamped the 'capture a moment in time...' stamp repeatedly around the border of my photo mat.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Anyway, super simple like I said, but I love how it will look with pictures at Disneyland on it. Here is a close-up of Emma's super cute sentiment on my ticket. I just added a little bit of a Mickey icon to the dots and voila a super cute Disney ticket.

This is a picture of the full set of Emma's Have Fun in the Sun set.

Emma's Stamptastic Blog Hop

Welcome to Emma's Stamptastic Blog Hop. We are so glad you could join us! We are celebrating Emma's newest release of stamps. If you got here from Katie's blog you are headed in the right direction, if not make sure you start back at Emma's blog because you don't want to miss anything.

For my project I was asked to use the Polka Dot SURPRISE set of stamps. These are SO cute! Do you love polka dots? I know I do!!! I used the cute 'May you dreams come true' sentiment for the title of my Minnie Mouse layout.

(You can always click on the photo to see some the details closer if you would like)

What is a blog hop without BLOG candy. The sweet and generous Emma is donating a set of Polka Dot SURPRISE stamps to a random commenter on my blog. To qualify for the stamp set you will need to make a comment on EVERYONE's post along the blog hop route (9 stops total). I will select a random winner from among my comments on this post and then I will verify that you have commented on everyone's post. Pretty easy right, and definitely well worth the chance at a set of beautiful stamps at every stop. You will have until Sunday night, February 13th, 2011, to comment.

Here is my scrapbook page title that was made with the Polka Dot SURPRISE stamps that you could win and below that is a picture of all of the stamps in this adorable set:

Your next stop will be the wonderful and talented Leanne. I know she has something amazing planned for you so hop on over and give her some love.

If you get lost along the way here is the blog hop line up:

Sparkly Merry Christmas!

I've had this ornament designed for a couple of years now and never got around to cutting it out. I originally designed it in the Cricut Design Studio and later converted the file for my wonderful Gypsy. It is very simple but I love how it turned out. I used Core'dinations Couture Cardstock and it is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately the photos do not do this paper justice. Anyway, here is my card.

I also wanted to remind everyone about the Holly Jolly 2 day Blog Hop. I am so excited this is my first time participating in a blog hop and I hope you will join us. It starts of Friday, December 10th, 2010 at 7:30 PM EST.

Sugar and Spice

This is a onesie shape card for the soon arrival of a new niece. It isn't quite a standard baby card as far the colors go, but I think they will really like it. They LOVE anything Disney. I made this card for Emma's (My Creative Time's) Throwback Thursday Challenge.

I used the New Arrival Cricut cartridge for the onesie and Mickey and Friends for the Mickey Mouse Icon and Minnie Mouse bow. I also added some tiny eyelets for the snaps at the bottom and neckline of the onesie. I stamped on Sugar and Spice and did some doodling with my black pen and a Sakura white gelly roll pen.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 27

Can I say, I had SO much fun with this challenge! An idea popped into my head on Tuesday, on Wednesday, I was able to sneek in a little time to design it on my Gypsy. On Thursday, my baby took a good nap and I was able to cut the card and put it together. Today I added the last few touches and voila, my card.

I love that the butterfly wings kind of flap when you pick it up. Here is a backside view.
And this is a front side view. Fun, fun, fun.
I used core'dinations cardstock along with some other paper from my stash. I used Peachy Keen Stamps set PK-502A Funshine Faces Side Views 3/4" for the cute butterfly face. I used the following Cricut cartridges: Wild Card for the card base, George for the circle, 50 States for the flower, and Mickey and Friends for the butterfly. Then I added a sentiment, some blush for the cheek, a little doodling, some inking, a few rhinestones and ribbon.
Below is the color palette and images that helped to inspire my card. Thanks for looking.
