School Teacher Gift Tag

It is Tag it Tuesday at My Creative Time which was perfect because I needed to make a gift tag for a bag of supplies I was sending to school with my daughter. I had seen this darling tag that my DT sister, Katie, had made with the Stitched File Folder and Index Card Dies and wanted to make something similar for this gift. We wrote a note inside and stamped a few things on the outside. The sentiment is from Thank You Hugs stamp set and the cute pencil is from the All Around Everything Accessories stamp set. The hemp is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. Her shop is only going to be open a few more days and she has all remaining stock at 40% off, so hop on over quick to see what she has left.

Birthday Tag Set

It is Tag it Tuesday at My Creative Time and we are all making a set of coordinating tags. I decided to make some girl and boy birthday tags, these things always seem to come in handy.

I used a handful of My Creative Time products to make these. I used the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die, the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. For stamp sets I used the All Around Birthday Time, All Around Goodies and the All Around Everything Accessories. I tied the tags off with some pretty colors of Trendy Twine.

School Note Card Set

Today we are starting a new Designer Challenge at My Creative Time. Cathryn is our host for this challenge. She has challenged us to make a school themed project. I thought it would be fun to make some 3x3 notecards.

I used several My Creative Time products on these. I used: the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies, the All Around Everything stamp set, the All Around Everything Accessories, and the All Around Goodies (for the apples). I also used the Simple Sallies face assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps for the face on the apple.

MCT 3D Wednesday - REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Hello My Creative Time friends. Today our 3D projects are all about being environmentally friendly. We are Reducing, Reusing and Recycling to make our projects. For my project I used a soup can that would have gone in the garbage and all of the paper was from scraps that could have been thrown away.

I decided to make a little 'Summer Can of Fun.' This can will have little pieces of paper inside with different activities that my girls and I can do this summer. Once homework and chores are done, they can pick a fun activity from the can. I think it will be a huge hit!

I used two My Creative Time stamp sets to make this. The first set is Have Fun in the Sun and the second was All Around Everything Accessories. I just randomly stamped sentiment on the red background paper and on the piece of white cardstock I did flip-flops in various colors. The end touch was some orange twill ribbon by Celebrate It.

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to day 1 of a new release. This release is AWESOME! You are in for a real treat. Today we are featuring two different stamp sets that coordinate with each other and with the Scalloped and Stitched Circle Dies too. The sets are called All Around Everything and All Around Everything Accessories. I love the possibilities with this set and how you can mix and match to your hearts desire. There are SO many options.

I have a couple of projects for you today. First of all I have a gift card holder for my daughter's teacher during teacher appreciation week.

Isn't that darling apple tree too cute (it is from the All Around Everything Accessories set)! The perfect Many Thanks sentiment is from the All Around Everything stamp set. I also used Emma's Scallop and Stitched Circle Die, her Embossed Gift Card Holder Die and the sentiment at the top is from the More Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.

My second project is for my children. The oldest is at the age of losing teeth so when I saw this tooth image and sentiment I thought I would make something that could be used over and over for the tooth fairy. I cut the pouch out of felt using Emma's Embossed Gift Card Holder and then I hand stitched it together using some pretty twine.

I stamped the sentiment and the tooth on some white cotton fabric that I mounted onto some sturdier white felt. The grey piece is also felt that was cut out using Emma's Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.
