Have a Beary Merry Christmas

Welcome! Today my friend Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. I chose the cut this month and it is the reindeer teddy bear from the Cricut Lite Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.

The cute little bear face was stamped on with the Teddy Bear Assortment (stamp set) by Peachy Keen Stamps. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiments. I also used two My Creative Time dies, the Fun Stitched Edge Dies and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die. I added some Stickles and Glossy Accents and I was good to go. I hope you enjoyed my card and PLEASE make sure to stop by Pam's blog HERE to see what she made with this cut. Have a good day and I'll see you back here on Friday for two blog hops. Hugs- Glora

Happy Thanksgiving Card - MCT Favorite Stamp of the Month

Today we are sharing the new My Favorite Stamp of the Month sets for My Creative Time. You can purchase both of these sets and get free shipping but ONLY on these two sets. Free shipping for these sets goes until November 15th. The sets are Piles of Smiles and Mixed Holiday Sentiments.

For my card I used a sentiment from Piles of Smiles.

All the products on here are by My Creative Time. I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal die for my shape card (now it will fit inside the awesome Scallop Stitched Envelope Die). I used the egg die from the Hello Spring stamp and die set to make my pumpkin. I totally got this idea from my design team sister Kim. She made a darling pumpkin out of this die quite a while back. You can find it HERE. For the pumpkin stem I used the end of the curly mustache die on the What's Growing On? stamp and die set. I also used the leaf from the Stitched Leaves Dies. And the sentiment comes from Piles of Smiles.

I've used both of these sets several times. I thought I would share a few of my favorite projects using these two Favorite Stamp of the Month sets.

These ones use Mixed Holiday Sentiments:

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog for more inspiration using these two sets. Hugs- Glora

MCT - 12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

Welcome to the 6th day of My Creative Time's 12 Day of Christmas. Today I have a friend or neighbor gift idea. For the packaging I just reused a plastic bag that I had been given and it already had the cute little silver filler in it. I love to reuse stuff :).

I love this YUMMY hot chocolate and although I could just crush my own candy canes and add it to hot chocolate I kind of like having it already done for me ;). For the label I used the new Vintage Stitched Label Dies. For the darling hot chocolate mug and hot chocolate sentiment I used the Do the Cocoa Motion stamp set. And last but not least the 'warm holiday wishes' sentiment came from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set all once again from My Creative Time.

Here is a close up of the tag and little jingle bell with the candy canes behind it.

I hope you enjoy all the awesome ideas that the ladies have been showing so far. If you haven't yet, make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what everyone has done today. Hugs- Glora

MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 11

Hello and welcome to the 11th day of Emma's 12 Days of Christmas. If you arrived here from the talented Cindy's blog you are in the right spot. If not make sure to start at Emma's blog.

Today I have a card for you. I used a sketch that they are using over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog. Sometimes I think it really helps to get some inspiration from a sketch that is all drawn up and ready for you to use.

For this card I used one of the dies from Emma's Build a Banner Kit along with a sentiment from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set. The darling  snowman is called Snow Girl and she coordinates with the Winter Character with Stocking Cap die. This is my first time using this die and stamp and I love how simple the die made it! I paper pieced most of the snowman but I did color in her pants with some Copics. The paper pad I used is called Be Merry by My Minds Eye. I noticed that Janice used this same paper pad for hers and I think it was a great choice. There are so many pretty double sided papers in this little pad.

MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 7

If you are looking for my Simply Crafts Project, scroll down or click HERE.

Hello friends and welcome to the 7th day of Emma's 12 Days of Christmas. If you arrived here from the talented Cindy's blog you are in the right spot. If not make sure to start at Emma's blog.

Today I have another quick and easy project for you. These little boxes only take a square piece of paper, a little scoring and folding, a few hole punches and some ribbon or twine to tie it together. From there you are pretty much done. This container is made with a 6x6 piece of paper from the Be Merry paper pad by My Minds Eye.

I inked all of the edges with a nice warm brown before I tied it all together. Then I threw in some M & M's and I was done. If you don't know how to make these little boxes my friend Pam has a nice video tutorial for you HERE. Once you make one or two, you can just do it from memory. They are just that easy.

The awesome circle shape on the front is from Emma's Scallop and Stitched Circle Die set. I just used the Stitched Circle Die for this project. I also used the Warm Holiday Wishes sentiment from her Mixed Holiday Sentiment stamp set.

Simply Crafts - Christmas Stocking Cut

Hello and welcome to another Simply Crafts Challenge day. For those of you unfamiliar with this, my crafting bestie, Pam, and I do a cut challenge the first Wednesday of each month. We just opened up our challenge so that anyone could participate a couple of months ago. If you are interested in joining the fun hop on over to the Simply Crafts Challenge Blog.

For the cut this month Pam chose the stocking from the Jolly Holidays cartridge. I thought it would look really cute with a sweet little teddy bear inside and so that is exactly what I did.

I love the sentiment I used for this card. It is from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set. The darling bear is from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge and the oh so SWEET and perfect face is by Peachy Keen Stamps and are called Cute and Cuddly Faces. All the paper, except for the kraft and white, are from a paper pad by My Minds Eye it is called Be Merry. In fact this little paper pad is part of this months giveaway.

Don't forget to drop by Pam's blog to see what her take on this cute stocking was and who knows she may even have an awesome video waiting for you too. If you would like to join in the fun of this challenge click HERE to go to the challenge blog and check it out. Hugs- Glora

Snowmany Hugs and MCT E2 Finalist

Today I have a card for you using the current Peachy Keen sketch over on their challenge blog. I love this sketch and actually made two different cards, but only one could be entered and I think this is my favorite of the two. It was hard to choose. I will probably post the other one sometime next week.

I just LOVE this darling Peachy Snowman, he is called Snow Much Love. I got him free with an order last year but he is also available for sale too. I paper pieced him with the same patterned paper that I used on the card. I also did a lot of inking around edges and such. And that perfect sentiment is from Emma's Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set!

ALSO, I just wanted to let you know that the person that is entered in the final drawing for the E2 from my blog is...

Zabrina said...
My favorite sport is football, so of course I'm going to love this!
This is my second HOP!

Congratulations, you will be entered in along with 18 other people into the grand prize drawing. Watch Emma's blog today to see if you are the happy new owner of the E2.

Thanks everyone and I will hopefully see you tomorrow for Cathy's birthday blog hop.

Sweet Pumpkin Trio

I know that Halloween has come and gone but I received this darling Pumpkin Trio, that I won, in the mail and I just had to use it for the Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday Challenge!

I had to take the picture at a little bit of a weird angle because all of the papers are super shiny/sparkly and my camera only liked this angle - LOL. The darling pumpkins and their faces come in the Pumpkin Trio CottageCutz die set. And the sweet little Trick or Treat sentiment is from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set. The little oval that it is stamped on is Emma's Stitched Oval Die.

I will be back soon with something non-Halloween. Have a great one! Hugs- Glora

Just a real quick post today. My friend Tami, told me that I needed to do another card with my Mickey pumpkin. I've been planning on doing it all month and finally got around to it. Enjoy!

For this pumpkin I used my Gypsy along with Mickey and Friends and Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge. The polka dot paper is PaperTrey Ink and the twin is from Trendy Twine. The beautiful happy Halloween sentiment is from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set by My Creative Time.

HERE is a LINK to my other Mickey pumpkin card. Have a great day! Hugs- Glora

Whimsical Wednesday - Fall Cutie

Yay, it is time for another wonderful Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. Today we all made projects with a fall cutie (a little fall themed animal). This was Cathryn's idea and I love it.

I made a shaped card and my fall cutie is a little indian fox.

The fox and tee-pee are cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. The little indian headpiece is cut from Paper Doll Dress Up. I just sized it up for the fox in my Gypsy. The yellow and green ribbon on the tee pee is some more beautiful crinkle ribbon by Patsy at the Prairie Bird Boutique. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiments.

I had a little extra fun with the fox and used some more fun flock. I go in phases with that stuff, but I seriously love the way it looks when I take the time to use it. Here is a close up so you can see the texture a little better. A few of you had asked what fun flock is, or where to get it. Well I've seen it called fun flock and flocking and it is usually located right close to the embossing powders and such at your local scrapbooking store. Kimberly from My Craft Spot has some awesome tutorials on using fun flock so I'm going to link to one of those post HERE if you are interested.

Today, we are all doing a second project featuring stamps by Tanner, AKA: Mr. Cricut Crazy. I had the chance to work with Tanner on Emma's design team for a while and I'm just loving this Halloween stamp set I bought from him. These stamps are manufactured by Peachy Keen Stamps so they are awesome quality stamps!

For my card I used his Halloween Town set. I just love this 2 cute 2 spook sentiment.

This is another shaped card, the images come from the Simply Charmed cartridge. My only regret on this card is the stitching between the gray and the black parts of the headstone. I added the stitching before I had glued the gray piece down and then I truly realized how bad I am at drawing a straight line without a guide. Lesson learned on this one!!! Maybe you will humor me and just say that it looks like an old decrepit sort of headstone, so the pieces aren't straight anyway - LOL! The cute little face on the ghost is by Peachy Keen Stamps Monster Mash face assortment. The green bow is made with more of Patsy's ribbon and as mentioned before the darling sentiment is from Tanner's Halloween Town stamp set.

Another fun thing about this card is that the ghost is on an Action Wobble. She is so cute wobbling around on there. In fact, the very first project I EVER made with an Action Wobble over a year ago was on a ghost. It is a perfect motion for these kinds of things.

The prizes for this challenge are some ribbon from The Prairie Bird Boutique and one of Tanner's Stamp sets. I hope you will find some time to join in the fun. This is my last challenge being a part of the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge blog and I wanted to thank Stephanie and all the other sweet ladies on the team for their support and friendship! XOXO to all of you and I will still be stopping by to visit your blogs!!! You are all SO talented! Hugs- Glora

The Sweetest Halloween Pumpkin EVER!!!

Hello sweet crafting friends. Today I'm going to share a couple of cards that I made with some digi images that my friend Cindy of Cindy's Little Creations made. Cindy is super talented and I'm so proud of her and the beautiful designs that she has been making. Cindy had shared some images for me to use and I love them!!! Stop by HERE to see other creations that Cindy has made. You will not be disappointed she is amazing!

Now, I really am a novice at coloring with Copics but have some and I love how they look so I used them anyway (although I will admit that it took me FOREVER to do up these two images). I only have 36 markers that came in a set and I have actually found that it makes for some difficulty in blending since the colors are not as close in color as I would like, but for now they work. Don't pay too close of attention to my coloring, just enjoy the beautiful digi's for what they are :). I would also like to thank my friend Kate for some tips on working with digi's and Cindy gave me some awesome pointers too. Thanks ladies!

Here is my first card and I'm totally in LOVE with this pumpkin, I think she is the sweetest Halloween pumpkin EVER!!!!

Isn't she too cute?!!! I really LOVE her!!! Great job on this digi Cindy!!! I added some accent doodles to the image after I colored it with the Copics and then I also added some glossy accents to the eyes, nose and tooth. The black piece was cut from the Shall We Dance Cricut cartridge and I faux stitched around it with a white gel pen. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is by Patsy at The Prairie Bird Boutique. The darling green pattern on the green paper is an awesome background stamp by Market Street Stamps. It is called Punched Tin and I love how it looks on there. And last but not least the absolutely perfect sentiment for this cute pumpkin is from the All Around Halloween stamp set by My Creative Time.

Here is my second card using another digi by Cindy...

I think that kitty peeking out is just too darn cute!!!! For this one, I colored it with Copics and then cut it out. I printed a second copy on the blue background so I could glue my image down and still have the cute swirlies and such on the pumpkins and still have a dark starry sky. I added more doodling with my white gel pen and glossy accents on the cats eyes and nose. I used Emma's Stitched Oval Die and a sentiment from her Mixed Holiday Sentiments. A little bit of twine and inking and my card was done.

I hope you enjoyed these and thanks again Cindy. These were so much fun to work with!!!

Also make sure to join us for some sneak peeks with My Creative Time starting on Monday :)! Hugs- Glora

Whimsical Wednesday -"No Tricks Just Treats"

Today we have all made treat containers over at the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog. We hope you will make a fun Halloween treat container and join in the challenge.

This little milk carton was donated for our use from Regina at The Cutting Cafe and is called the Halloween and Fall Milk Carton Set. I don't have any other machine for electronic cuts other than my Cricut, but there was a pdf file and I just printed it off on patterned paper and cut it out by hand. It was super easy to cut out by hand, just straight lines and some scoring.

The little sucker and candy corn images are also from The Cutting Cafe, they are from a printable stamp set called Halloween Treats Just For You. The pretty crinkle ribbon is by Patsy at the Prairie Bird Boutique. The orange trick or treat circle is the Stitched Circle die by My Creative Time. The little starburst shape is a die from the Build a Banner Kit by My Creative Time and the sentiment is from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments by My Creative Time.

I hope you will stop by the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog and see what all the other ladies have in store for you. I also hope that you will participate in the challenge. Regina from The Cutting Cafe has sponsored this challenge with 3 cut files. Patsy from the Prairie Bird Boutique is also sponsoring this challenge with a bundle of shabby crinkle ribbon. I hope you get a chance to play along in the challenge. Hugs- Glora

Whimsical Wednesday Halloween Blog Hop

Hello crafting friends. Tonight is the start of the Whimsical Wednesday Halloween Blog Hop. If you came here from Joni's blog than you are in the right place, if not make sure to get the whole hop in by starting at the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog.

For my project today I have some Halloween treat bags and a card set. So on with the show. Here is my card set:

These are fairly simple cards. I used one piece of 12x12 patterned paper by SEI for all 4 cards. I got the paper at the Scrapbooking USA Expo. This piece of paper did all the work for me. The images were fun, embossed and have a fun metallic look too. The ribbon is all crinkle ribbon by the Prairie Bird Boutique. I did 4 different treatments with it. A regular bow, a double bow, and a couple of variations on a bunched up style. I learned most of these techniques from Kimberly at My Craft Spot. I added the darling Mini Ghost from Peachy Keen Stamps. I colored her up with some Copics that I'm still trying to figure out how to use - LOL. But I think she still turned out pretty cute. And all of the perfect sentiments along with that cute little spider come from the All Around Halloween Stamp set by My Creative Time. I love how they fit the cards perfectly. The fun thing about acrylic stamps is that you can make them wavy or straight like I have on these cards. Okay, I think that is about it on these, I just have a close up of each card.

I also have a couple of very simple treat bags to show you. These don't take long at all to whip up:

For these I used the XL Label Die by My Creative Time. I cut them out and then I stamped them with the coordinating border stamp from the Whimsical Calendar Days stamp set. I stamped them with the I {heart} candy stamp from the Mixed Holiday Greetings by My Creative Time. Next I folded them in half and punched some holes for my square SEI brads. I put the brads in and turned them at an angle. I added some more beautiful crinkle ribbon from the Prairie Bird Boutique and some Stickles to the insides of the hearts and I was done. These could easily be mass produced for school treats or something like that. The patterned paper I used is from the DCWV Citrus Stack.

We have a lot of amazing sponsors for this fun blog hop, they are as follows:

1. Trendy Twine: Original Sample Pack
2. Trade Fish Designs: Rest In Peace Stamp Set
3. Prairie Bird Boutique: one bundle of Shabby Crinkle Ribbon-you get to chose the bundle.

And we also have a grand prize for the hop:

The grand prize for the hop is valued at a MSRP of $75.00. It is from PSA Essentials. This package includes the Stamper Body, a Peal and Stick Stamp Set, one customized stamp and an Orange/Black Inker. In order to be eligible for the blog candy you must leave a comment on each blog and then go back to Whimsical Wednesday at the end of the hop and leave a comment.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #9

Hello friends, it is the first Wednesday of the month which means it is time for a cut challenge between me and my crafting bestie Pam (Simply-Pam).

I am super excited because Pam and I have decided to let you join in on our cut challenge fun. And yes, there will even be a small prize for a random winner. The new challenge blog is called Simply Crafts Challenge Blog. Click HERE to go and see Pam's project and the full details on the challenge.

Pam chose the cut this month which is a little monster off of the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.

Here is my card with this cut:

She is on an Action Wobble and my littlest one LOVES this little monster. Can't you just see her wobbling back and forth. The shape for this card is from the Happy Haunting cartridge and I just welded it together in my Gypsy at 4.25 x 5.5". The cute little face is by Peachy Keen Stamps and is called Monster Mash. The cute orange and black twine is by Trendy Twine and is so cute on Halloween projects. And that super beautiful sentiment and die combo is by Emma at My Creative Time. The die is called the Stitched Oval Die and the stamp set is Mixed Holiday Sentiments.

If you decide to join in on this fun challenge, the cut is on page 49 of the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge. If you do play along you will have a chance to win the following (pictured below): 15 yards of the orange and black Trendy Twine, The Skeleton Scroll Cuttlebug embossing folder and some Halloween colored brads by SEI. Just make sure to link up on the Simply Crafts Challenge Blog within the next two weeks and we will pick a random winner.

Don't forget to stop by Pam's blog to see the full details on her project too. Just click HERE.

Also don't forget about the Whimsical Wednesday Blog Hop coming up on Friday, October 7th at 7:00 pm EST. Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora
