Throwback Thursday - BUG Challenge

Hello and welcome to another Throwback Thursday Challenge for My Creative Time. For this Throwback Thursday Challenge we were to use a "bug" of any sort off of any older Cricut cartridge. There are TONS of possibilities so I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I decided to make a bright and colorful friendship card.

This really pretty butterfly is from the Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge. The only drawback was that even cutting it at 3 1/2 inches it was still too small to add a cute little Peachy Keen face too (even the smallest ones were just too big). I made the shape of this card using my Gypsy and a pretty shape from the Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge. All the paper is from a SEI paper pad. And thanks to a reminder from my sweet friend Cindy of Cindy's Scraptastic Designs I added twine around my card. I haven't done that in several months and I had forgotten how pretty it looked until I saw THIS darling card that she made. And of course, that BEAUTIFUL and perfect friendship sentiment is from Emma's Many Greetings stamp set. Isn't that sentiment PERFECT? I had totally forgot that it was even on this set. I'm so glad that I looked at the sentiments on there again, this is definitely a terrific year round - all occasion sort of stamp set. I LOVE it!

I hope you will join in the fun and since this is the last Throwback Thursday before Emma's next stamp release you will definitely want to join in the fun so you have a chance for the AWESOME prize.

I hope you will drop by Emma's blog if you haven't already to see what she and some of the other design team members have ready for you. Have a WONDERFUL day! Hugs- Glora

Monday Madness... Imagine That (Congratulations on Your Baptism)

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to another Monday Madness... Imagine That. For these projects we always make something with our Imagine Machines or something Imagine like if we don't have an Imagine. I don't have an Imagine so I used patterned paper and a background stamp to make my card Imagine like.

Emma had asked us to use the colors chocolate, teal and red. I also got to use her Many Greetings stamp set. I LOVE this set because it has a little bit of EVERYTHING on it! This was PERFECT timing for using this stamp set too because my daughter just got baptized on Saturday and it had the perfect sentiment for that. The girl on this card may look a little older than you might expect for a baptism card, but in my church children don't get baptized until they are 8. My little paper doll's darling face is from the Happy :Lashes Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I also did some clear embossing on her dress with the Sweet Lace background stamp by Market Street Stamps. I really love the white on white effect it gives.

Make sure to hop on over to Emma's blog to see what she and some of the designers have for you today! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Throwback Thursday Lite Style

Hello everyone, it is time for another fabulous Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time. For the challenge this time we want you to use a Cricut Lite cartridge and make a layout. I hope you will come and join in the fun.

I am WAY behind on my scrapbooking so this was a great challenge for me. I used the Sugar and Spice Cricut cartridge to make a birthday page for my daughter's scrapbook. (You can always click on the pictures to see the details closer up if you would like ).

Isn't this bear the cutest? I used the new and adorable Cute and Cuddly face stamps by Peachy Keen Stamps. I LOVE these!

I used Emma's (My Creative Time's) Wow! So Many Candles stamp set for my project. This set is perfect for all of your birthday projects. I repeatedly stamped Wish Big with watermark ink to make a fun and subtle patterned paper.

I also stamped the 'Happy Birthday' and 'Little Princess' with Market Street Stamps Loopy Loo Polka background stamp. I can't get enough of that background stamp!

I may be biased but I think Peachy Keen stamps manufactures the best stamps around!

I hope you get a chance to play along. Also make sure that you stop by My Creative Time so that you can see Emma and her Design Team's fabulous layouts.

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #2

It is time for another monthly challenge between Pam and me. I got to choose the Cricut cut this time. I chose the rainbow and clouds from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. It is on page 55 of the handbook. I made a shaped card with my Gypsy. I also hid the faces on the clouds so that I could add some cute Peachy Keen face stamps. The beautiful sentiment it from Emma's (My Creative Time's) Color Me Happy set. Kind of simple but fun. I hope you like it.

Please take a minute to check out Pam's project on her blog. Click HERE to go to her blog. I know that she has something beautiful to show you with this cut. She is amazing! Thanks for joining us.

I also decided to submit this to the Fantabulous Cricut challenge. The challenge was to make a shaped card.

Items Used:

*Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge
*Gypsy
*My Creative Time stamps- Color Me Happy
*Peachy Keen Stamps- Wide Eyed Kids
*Core'dinations Cardstock

Paper Playtime Challenge #19

I made this pretty simple, but kind of elegant thank you card. I added little adhesive pearls for my embellishments. I hope you enjoy and have a good evening.

The thank you is from storybook and the cute scalloped edge is from Once Upon a Princess.

Halloween Cupcake

My sister-in-law has an October birthday (no worries she doesn't check my blog so I'm not ruining her surprise). She LOVES candy corn and so I thought this cute cupcake would be the perfect thing for her birthday.

I stamped the cute face on with the discontinued Happy Camper stamp from Peachy Keen. I also stamped the circle sprinkles on in orange, yellow-orange, and yellow. I hope your day is sprinkled with fun.

Ingredients:
Once Upon a Princess - cupcake
Doodlecharms - candy corn
Happy Camper face - DISCONTINUED- Peachy Keen Stamps

Everyday Paperdolls - for the dolls and their clothing
Mickey font - for the Mickey icons
Mickey and Friends - for Minnie's bow
Once Upon a Princess- for the castle
