Everyday Cricut Project - Dancing Leprechaun

Hi crafty friends. Sorry things have been SO quiet on here this week. Life has just been good and busy and it hasn't left a whole lot of time for crafting. The little I have got done is for the upcoming PKS Stamp of the Month release. You will NOT want to miss that so make sure you are checking in on the sneaks the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April.

Today I'm sharing my St. Patty's Day card that I made over at Everyday Cricut a couple of weeks ago. I figured I better get it posted over her before March is over ;).

This is a pretty simple shape card that I made in my Gypsy using the Lacey Labels Cricut Lite cartridge and the Simply Charmed cartridge.

I really LOVE the leprechauns on the Simply Charmed cartridge. They are just too sweet. I stamped his face with a stamp from the February 2012 Stamp of the Month set by Peachy Keen Stamps and those absolutely PERFECT St Patty's Day sentiments are from My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set.

I added lots of stitching and doodling with my Sakura Gellyroll pen and that darling little leprechaun is on an Action Wobble, so he really is doing a little jig. If you haven't seen an Action Wobble in motion before I have a really quick 20 second video that you can watch below.

Thanks for taking a look at my project. I hope your day is TERRIFIC!!!! Hugs- Glora

Wobble Wednesday Challenge #3

Hello crafting friends. Today it is my turn to host the Wobble Wednesday Challenge. For this challenge we are adding an Action Wobble to any sort of a bunny. You can use stamps, die cuts, SVG's, Cricut cuts, whatever. I hope you will come on over and join in the fun HERE.

Here is my simple and fun card. I love this little wobbling bunny. This adorable bunny is a die by Peachy Keen Stamps and CottageCutz. It is called Easter Basket Bunny. She comes with two face choices and adding the eggs and basket is totally optional. I cut the bunny out in kraft cardstock and used a Versarmarker to accent her. I also added a little chalk and a Gellyroll for accents. The basket and paws were cut in pink and the eggs in white (I just inked them up and decorated them with my Gellyroll). This awesome sentiment is from Emma's Happy Hunting stamp set. It seemed the perfect fit for this cute little bunny and basket of eggs.

Well, I hope you will join in the fun of this challenge! Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday Mouse!

Just a quick project to share with you this morning. I made this card for my SIL's birthday.

I used the cute little mouse from the Peachy Keen Stamps - Cottage Cutz Cupid Mouse. I just didn't attach the wings or use the bow and arrow. I used a paper punch for the balloon. For the balloon string I used the coordinating stamp that is supposed to be the string on the bow and curved it like a balloon string. The cute little hat on the mouse is from the Karaoke Birthday stamp set by PKS and the Happy Birthday sentiment comes from the February 2012 SOTM set by PKS.

I also got a chance to meet up with Amy from Scrapping Mommy this weekend while she was in town. She is a total creative genius and super sweet.  We are on the My Creative Time and Peachy Keen Stamps design teams together. I had so much fun talking I stayed almost an hour longer than I had planned. It was great.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Also remember that Emma has given me 4 stamp sets to give away because I was guest designing at Everyday Cricut this week. You can enter the giveaways HERE, HERE and HERE. You will have through Sunday night to comment on all of these giveaways!***

I just LOVE a beautiful rainbow. I especially love it when I see a double rainbow, have you ever seen those? They are so pretty and have you noticed that the rainbow underneath has the colors in reverse order (violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red)? I just LOVE them! Anyway, I just wanted to share a quick card and wish you all a very happy St. Patrick's Day.

For this card I used the February 2012 Stamp of the Month stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps and the darling sentiments are from My Creative Time's Just a Little Note to Say stamp set. I colored the rainbow with Copics and then added lots of Crystal Stickles. I love how sparkly it is. I inked up the edges of the clouds with blue ink and used some clear sparkle paint on them and then added some Stickles on their noses. I added a few strands of colorful twine and some stitching with my gel pen and I was done.

Have a terrific St. Patty's Day and don't forget to wear some GREEN!!!! Hugs- Glora

MCT March Release Blog Hop & Link Up

Yay, today is the My Creative Time March Release Blog Hop! Have you already ordered your stamps? If so I hope you will join us for the Linky-party that Emma will be having on her blog, if not you still have time to order and play along! You can get the full details over on Emma's Blog.

If you are coming here from Cindy's beautiful blog you are in the right spot, if not make sure to start back at Emma's blog so you don't miss a single thing.

Today I am showcasing two of Emma's newest stamp sets. I used Coffee backgrounds for the super awesome background argyle on my card and Do the Cocoa Motion for the sentiments and hot cocoa cup. I also used Emma's Stitched Oval Die, it is definitely one of my favorite go to dies for sentiments.

This card is totally simple but I just didn't want to take away from these beautiful stamps and dies. It is another 3.5" x 3.5" card. I heat embossed the background with clear embossing powder. I added some puffy paint to the cream that is overflowing from the mug and I added some red Stickles to the tiny hearts. Then I used my Gellyroll to do a little stitching and I also added just a touch of twine from Trendy Twine.

MCT March Release Sneak Peek #4

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to our final day of My Creative Time sneak peeks. These are different than our normal sneaks because these stamps are already available for purchase HERE. Have you bought yours yet? They are so much fun!!!

If you are stopping by from my Everyday Cricut  I would like to thank you for stopping by again today.

The set we are all showcasing today is called Coffee Break. This set had three beautiful mini background stamps a hot drink container stamp and coordinating dies, etc.  When I saw the little mini polka dot background stamp I just knew I had to make myself a little Disney hot chocolate cup. It is one of my favorite treats to have at Disneyland when we are there for a visit in the winter.

This is just a sweet and simple card and it was SO easy to make. The hot cocoa container/die and the polka dots stamped on it come from Emma's new Coffee Break stamp and die set. The HOT COCOA and Wishing you a Cup of Cheer! sentiments both came from the Do the Cocoa Motion stamp set and then I also used the Stitched Oval Die as well. The tiny Mickey icons are actually from a paper punch I bought at Disneyland years ago. From there I just did a little inking around the edges, some faux stitching and a bit of twine. This card is 3.5" x 3.5".

With all of our Sneak Peek weeks, Emma likes to do some FUN giveaways!

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to our 3rd day of My Creative Time sneak peeks. These are different than our normal sneaks because these stamps are already available for purchase HERE. If you are stopping by from my Everyday Cricut  I would like to thank you for stopping by again today.

The set we are all showcasing today is called You are Perk-fect. This set had these sweetest WARM WISHES sentiments and so I just had to make up these cute little snowmen to give to some friends (spring is almost here, but we had snow a little over a week ago so I thought I better sneak these cuties in). They are made with winter gloves, paper, microwave popcorn. I COMPLETELY and TOTALLY got this idea from Emma herself. HERE is her original project and the details on how she made it.

Here are some closeups of each of these:

Both of the beautiful sentiments are from the You are Perk-fect stamp set and the BEAUTIFUL 4" faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps. The face in the picture above is called 4" Snowman Face with Happy Lashes and Tongue Out.

The face for the one below is called, 4" Snow Face with Happy Lashes and Coals for Smile.

MCT March Release Sneak Peek #1

Welcome to another sneak peek week at My Creative Time. If you came here from Everyday Cricut, welcome, I'm glad to have you here!

Today we are showcasing Emma's new set called Tea Party! I wanted to make a layout for my daughter. We have a darling picture of her dressed up as Alice and riding the Teacups at Disneyland.

I made my own background patterned paper using Emma's Tea Party stamp set. And the 'MAD Tea Party' banner was made by combining the letters MAD from the Anyday Bingo and Crossword set with the Tea Party stamp from this newest release.

Here is a close up of Alice.

LUCKY Banner

Hello Peachy Keen Fans. Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have another project using those beautiful 4" faces by Peachy Keen Stamps. I love to make banners for each holiday and I love to have people or animals holding up the banner. I was so excited when the 4" faces came out because now I can make some bigger banners.

Here is what the whole banner looks like:

I know they look tiny on here but those leprechauns are actually about 11.5" tall. Aren't they adorable? They are from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge. Here is the first one closer up, I used the Happy Lash Mouth Open With Tongue Out 4" stamp:

And here is the leprechaun on the end, closer up, for him I used the Happy Lashes Mouth Open 4" stamp:

And last of all here is a close up of one of the letters, I used the Lucky Day Shamrock background stamp on each of the letters. It makes the perfect St. Patty's Day paper. I REALLY love this background stamp. The shamrocks are from the Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge and the letters are from Birthday Bash:

I wish you could all see this in person, it is a terrific size with the leprechauns at 11.5" and the shamrocks at 4.5". Anyway, I hope you like it and that it inspires you to try something new and fun. Hugs- Glora

Simply Crafts Challenge for March

Hi and welcome to another Simply Crafts Challenge. It is the first Wednesday of the month so this is the day that Pam and I choose a Cricut cut to make a project with. I chose the cut this month and it is the kite from the Create a Critter cartridge (it is on the same key as the giraffe). The past several months we have let you all join in the fun. If you would like to check out the details of this month's challenge and play along click HERE.

I made a long card to fit inside a business size envelope. I cut 3 of the sweet little kites (using beautiful paper my friend gave me by Doodlebug Designs). I added twine for the tails of the kites. The cute little faces are all from the Snow Cuties stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. The darling sentiments come form two different stamp sets by My Creative Time. The top sentiment comes from Emma's Color Me Happy stamp set and the bottom one is from her most recent release Hello Spring. The tiny little butterflies are made with a paper punch, by EK Success, that I've had for years.

Don't forget to drop by Pam's blog to see the details for her kite project. Click HERE to go to her blog. And if this sounds like a fun challenge and you want to join in hop on over to the Simply Crafts Challenge blog HERE. Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs- Glora

Thank You Birdy

Today I wanted to share a thank you card that I made for a super sweet crafting friend of mine. She sent me some of this BEAUTIFUL paper by Doodlebug Design called Petite Prints. I just LOVE it. There are polka dots on one side and grids on the other side. SO SUPER cute! Thank you sweet friend. I have been WAY too spoiled lately. I also received some pretty bling, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, stitching pens, and Glossy Accents from another sweet crafting friend recently. You both know who you are and I just want to say THANK YOU so much for thinking of me!

For this card I used some of the pretty Petite Prints paper that my friend sent to me and some of the bling that my other friend sent me. The darling little bird is a new die by Peachy Keen Stamps- CottageCutz called Winter Bird. I think she is too cute. I cut her out in the pink, white and turquoise and then inked up all the edges and added doodling too. I added glossy accents to the eyes and beak and a little twine bow as well. These dies are so cute and easy to put together too. The sweet Thank You sentiment is from the new Gnomegrown stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps.

I hope you are having a WONDERFUL Wednesday and I will see you again soon! Hugs- Glora

One More Leap Day Project

I needed to throw together some quick little goody bags on Wednesday and so I thought I would go with the "frog" Leap Day theme.

These are VERY simple because they are just going to want the candy! This little frog is from the Animal Kingdom cartridge which means I finally got to use my new stamps that I got from Peachy Keen Stamps called Animal Faces. I think this frog turned out SO cute, oh yes and did I mention that he WOBBLES! Yes, I couldn't resist putting him on a wobble. Peachy Keen Stamps is selling Action Wobbles again and they are seriously SO much fun. The perfect "jumping for JOY" sentiment is from My Creative Time's Just a Little Note to Say stamp set. I hand wrote happy leap day. I also included a little note that said that I hoped they had a WHOPPER of a day (cheesy I know, but I wanted to tie it all together).

Have a super day! Hugs- Glora

PS I just found out about an AWESOME sale over at Peachy Keen Stamps. 25% off your order (of almost everything) RIGHT NOW through 8pm CST on Sunday March 4th. Happy Shopping!

I know a lot of people hesitate on what to order first if they have not ever ordered from Peachy Keen Stamps before. If you are a die cutter and are looking for some awesome faces to start your collection, I PERSONALLY suggest the following 3 in this order 1. Everyday Character Faces, 2. Critter Faces in Medium or Large, 3. Wide Eyed Kids... All 3 of these sets give you both boy and girl faces and then the critter one also gives you a huge variety of animal faces.

Have a Sham-Rockin' Day!!!!

I've made a VERY simple note card for you today.

This little cutie shamrock (with all its perfect stitching) is from the February 2012 Stamp of the Month set by Peachy Keen Stamps. I think he is just too cute! I added an Action Wobble to the back of him so that he could wobble around, in fact my 3 year old has tested him out A LOT already. Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps sell Wobbles? You can check them out HERE. They really make for a fun and interactive card. Children love wobble cards, but I've found that adults have a blast with them too. The perfect sentiment for my rocking shamrock comes from My Creative Time's I Believe in Leprechauns stamp set.

I've added just a SHORT video for those of you who haven't seen an Action Wobble in action before...

Have a Sham-Rockin' Day friends! Hugs- Glora
