Happiness is Eating Cookie Dough!

It is time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps. This challenge is a CARDS ONLY challenge and you need to include a recipe with your card somewhere. I hope you will join us for this fun challenge.

I thought this would be a fun card to send someone who is having a rough day, I mean who doesn't love to eat cookie dough?

I included the recipe for a chocoate chip cookie dough that is safe to eat as is. In fact I believe the recipe said that it doesn't cook up well it is just for eating or adding to ice cream.

For this card I used the September 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps for the bowl, cookie dough and face and cookie dough sentiment. I used the In the Kitchen stamp set for the 'Life's short eat dessert' sentiment. I also used a few dies from My Creative Time for my card. I used the Scallop and Stitched Circle dies and the Stitched 3x4 Journaling Die as well as the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

HERE is a link to the recipe if you would like it (Willow Bird Baking actually has 3 different kinds of edible cookie dough listed here). Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps Forum page with the title Challenges and check out what the other ladies made and join in the fun yourself. Hugs- Glora

Dance in the Rain!

Today my crafty friend Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. I chose this month and it is the little rain girl from the new Create a Friend Cricut cartridge. I'm totally in love with this cartridge and hope to be using it A LOT in the future.

Here is what I did with the cut:

This is a shape card that I made on my Gypsy. The sweet sentiment is from a My Creative Time stamp set called I'm Here for You Rain or Shine. Once again I used my new favorite face set called In the Garden Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I inked the edged and pop-dotted her up for dimension. I also added some hemp twine.

I can't wait to see what Pam did with this cut and I hope you will check it out too. Click HERE to go to Pam's blog. Hugs- Glora

You've Been BOOed Treat Container

Today is 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time. For my project I altered an old container to make a cute Halloween container. I'll be adding candy to it and I'll give it to a neighbor sometime next month. Although my four year old loves it and thinks I should fill it with candy and give it to her ;).

I love this 'You've Been BOOed' sentiment from Emma's newest release set Fright Night. I stamped it on the Curly Label Die and the cute black border on the Curly Label Die is from the Inspiring Words (Accents) stamp set.

The darling ghost is from a new die set by My Creative Time called the Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies. I stamped it with an adorable Peachy Keen Face from the In the Garden face assortment (this set is quickly becoming a favorite of mine).

I hope you enjoyed my simple little altered project. Make sure to stop by the My Creative Time blog to see some more fun 3D projects. Hugs- Glora

Simple Boy Birthday Cards

It is time for another designer challenge at My Creative Time. Cindy is hosting our challenge and it is a BIRTHDAY challenge. So just make any birthday themed project and link it up on Emma's blog.

I made a set of 4 simple boy birthday cards. I have a terrific DCWV boy themed mat stack that has some terrific little scenes. I just added a couple of dies or stamps to each one and matted them to a card base and I was done. Super simple.

Here is a picture of each card close up and with the stamps and dies I used for it.

For this card I used a couple of strips of Washi Tape along with My Creative Time's Chocolate Greetings stamp set and the banner die that comes with the Chocolate Greetings Stamp set for the white layer. The black banner layer makes a perfect mat. It is the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Die . I saw my fellow DT team member Cheryl use this idea before and knew I would love using it this way. Here is a set of cards she made layering these dies HERE

This one uses the Circle Font stamp set along with a bunch of hand doodled bubbles.

For this card I used the Stitched Square Speech Bubble dies, the Chocolate Greetings stamp set and the It's All About You stamp set.

And last of all is the Fun Ticket stamp set and the Stitched Fun Ticket Die set.

Make sure you hop on over to Emma's blog to see what fun projects everyone made for this challenge. I hope you will join in the fun too! Hugs- Glora

Thank You for Being Such a Doll!

***If you are looking for my tag for the My Creative Time Tag it Tuesday segment scroll down or click HERE***

Today I am posting on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and I'm using some AWESOME Peachy Keen Stamps and some beautiful Timeless Twine.

You can do so many fun things with twine. One of my favorite things to do is to add it for a realistic feature on a card. I also just love it for bows, accents, framing, you name it. It adds such a fun little touch to a crafting project.

Today I made a shape card to share with you.

These cuts were all done on my Silhouette Cameo with svgs from Lettering Delights. My card base is from the Bowl Full of Cherries cut it set and the cute rag doll is from the Rag Doll cut it set. Did you notice that I used twine for my rag doll's hair. Isn't that fun? For the hair I used the red/pink mix called Strawberry Cupcake. Then for the twine framing around the circle layers I used a pretty aqua/white/red mix called Firecracker.

For my darling rag doll face I used PK-673 Rag Doll Faces. This is an awesome set where the eyes, nose and mouths can be mixed and matched to your hearts content. The sentiment that I stamped around the card base is from two different sets. The 'thank you' that I used is from PKSC-13 the January 2013 stamp kit of the month. Then the 'for being such a doll' sentiment comes from PK-124 Thank You Dolls.

I used some Glossy Accents to add some shine to her eyes and her shoes. I finished it off with some faux stitching and a little chalk blush.

I hope you are enjoying these fun twine and stamp projects that have been shared on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog so far. Make sure to keep checking them out, these ladies have come up with SOME awesome projects. You will not be disappointed. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

School Teacher Gift Tag

It is Tag it Tuesday at My Creative Time which was perfect because I needed to make a gift tag for a bag of supplies I was sending to school with my daughter. I had seen this darling tag that my DT sister, Katie, had made with the Stitched File Folder and Index Card Dies and wanted to make something similar for this gift. You can see Katie's darling tag HERE.

We wrote a note inside and stamped a few things on the outside. The sentiment is from Thank You Hugs stamp set and the cute pencil is from the All Around Everything Accessories stamp set. The hemp is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. Her shop is only going to be open a few more days and she has all remaining stock at 40% off, so hop on over quick to see what she has left.

Thoughtful Thursday - HOPE

Today is Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time. I made this card of encouragement for a friend who is training for a marathon. She is truly an inspiration.

For my card I used a free file from SVG Cuts. If you don't have it already you can get the file HERE. I used two different My Creative Time stamp sets for my sentiments. The first is the You Are Here stamp set and the second is Race for a Cure

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see some more Thoughtful Thursday projects. Hugs- Glora

BOO Halloween Layout

Happy Monday. Today is Scrappin' the Little Things at My Creative Time. I have a Halloween layout to share with you. It coordinates with another layout I made last year so now I have a great double page layout.

I used some new and some old My Creative Time products to make my layout. The BOO stamp is from the Treats for My Sweet stamp set and the 'You're So cute...' sentiment is from the new Spooky Starry Night stamp set. I used the Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies for the ghosts and the Stitched Tab Die for the tab. The two photo spots across the bottom were made using the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die. The ghost faces all come from a Peachy Keen Stamps face assortment called the Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment. I used some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique too.

I hope you will get a chance to check out Emma's blog to see what everyone else has made as well. Hugs- Glora

Apple Lacing Card

Hello. Today I'm posting over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. Here is a fun project I made for my daughter. I used to have these lacing project kits when I was young. I loved them a lot. I haven't seen many of these kinds of things around so I decided to make my own for my children to use. I am going to laminate it so it will last longer too.

I think it turned out pretty fun. The apple is from Create a Critter and is cut at 3.75 inches, I stamped the Everyday Character Faces 1.75" size set for the face. Then I laced some ribbon through my apple. I hope you have a fantastic day! Hugs- Glora

Welcome to day three of sneak peeks of the September stamp release at Peachy Keen Stamps. Today I have a gift card holder for you.

I thought this sentiment would be fun to give to someone with a gift card for a restaurant inside.

All of these stamps come from the new September 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I also used the Embossed Gift Card Holder by My Creative Time.

Don't forget to check out what the other designer's made at the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. They blow me away with their creativity. You won't want to miss it. Hugs- Glora

Birthday Tag Set

It is Tag it Tuesday at My Creative Time and we are all making a set of coordinating tags. I decided to make some girl and boy birthday tags, these things always seem to come in handy.

I used a handful of My Creative Time products to make these. I used the Stitched Round Tab Arrow and Tag Die, the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. For stamp sets I used the All Around Birthday Time, All Around Goodies and the All Around Everything Accessories. I tied the tags off with some pretty colors of Trendy Twine.

Make sure you stop by Emma's Blog to see some more awesome tag sets. Hugs- Glora

PKS September Sneak Peek #2

It is release week over at Peachy Keen Stamps and I have kind of a silly sneak peek for you today.

This is a magnet that I made for my fridge. I went with avocado green because it reminded me of all the old appliances in my home growing up. They were either avocado green or almond colored. Plus the green stands out against the white color of my current fridge.

Both the fridge and the face on it come together on a new set of stamps from this release called Retro Fridge. The sentiment is from an already released stamp set. It comes from the Dieting Snowpeople stamp.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Blog to see all of the other fun sneaks.

PKS September Release Sneak Peek Day 1

Well we have lots of fun stuff cookin' for you this month for the Peachy Keen Stamps September stamp release. I made a few projects and plan on sharing one each day until the final reveal on the 5th.

Here is a masculine birthday card that I made using the September 2013 SKOTM.

I love the fonts for the cute sentiment and I think this cake stamp is awesome. They are both from the September 2013 SKOTM. I stamped the cake image with watermark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. In real life it has a nice little gloss too it. I used some Washi Tape and the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die by My Creative Time.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to see what everyone else has created with these new stamps. Prepare to be amazed. Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs- Glora
