You Hold the Key to My Heart

***If you are looking for my Peachy Keen Stamps & SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop post please click HERE or scroll down to the next post.***

Today is Thoughtful Thursday at My Creative Time. Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what everyone has been made.

I used the More of My Favorite Sayings stamp set by My Creative Time along with one of the key dies from the Chunky Jar Accessories stamp and die set. The scalloped heart and stripe cut is one of the pre-loaded images that came with my Silhouette Cameo. I just made a simple shape card out of the image. I really love how precise the Silhouette cut this image.

I did a little faux stitching and added a ribbon at the top and my little shape card was done. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

My Teacher Rocks! - Teacher Appreciation

I just wanted to share with you the last couple of things that we did for Teacher Appreciation Week.

I made this card for my daughter's teacher and included a note and a gift card.

The cut is from the Recess Cricut cartridge. I made it into a girl cut instead of a boy cut by using the hair from the girl that sits at a desk on that cartridge. This super cute face that makes it look like she is reading out loud  is from Peachy Keen Stamps The Moodies 1 1/8" face stamps. The book title is from My Creative Time's My Teacher Rocks! stamp set. I did some faux stitching and used my Versamarker as well. Oh yes and those darling little flowers in her hair can be found at Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Here is the cute card that my daughter drew for her teacher:

And last of all we gave her about 20 homemade cards and envelopes in a bag with a topper.

The cute star on the topper is a stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps called You are a Star.

Have a great day and I will see you Wednesday for the PKS and SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop. Hugs- Glora

I have two quick cards to share with you today.

I used my Silhouette Cameo for this one. The ice cream cone is from Miss Kate's Cuttables and is called Happy Ice Cream Cone. The cute card shape is a freebie from SVG Cuts called Scalloped Squares. I used the More Chocolate Greetings for the sentiment and the little banner die it is on is from the original Chocolate Greetings stamp set both by My Creative Time. The ice cream cone's face is from the Snow Cuties face assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps.

My second card is a very simple birthday card.

For this card I used Emma's new It's All About You stamp set for the sentiment and the little green arrow/chevron type design. Other than that I did some inking with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I cut a couple of strips of paper.

More Teacher Appreciation

Well, I told you I would be back with more Teacher Appreciation week stuff.

Yesterday we sent this bag stuffed with school supplies with my daughter for her teacher.

This was super simple to put together. I used a kraft gift bag from our local dollar store (the come in 2 packs). I used the Thank You - BIG stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps for the sentiment. The awesome tag is My Creative Time's Scallop and Stitched Circle Die and the the apple on top is a DCWV felt sticker. All the other little images on there are stickers. These stickers were made by Provo Craft years ago.

My second project is a post it note holder. I remembered Liz of Liz's Paper Loft doing a tutorial on this and thought I'd give it a try. It was super easy to do and I love how it turned out. I definitely see more of these in my future. There is a link to Liz's awesome video tutorial HERE.

The apple was cut from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge. The face is the Piles of Smiles 1" faces by Peachy Keen Stamps and the sentiment is from the August 2012 SKOTM also by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some Sakura Gelly Roll faux stitching and I was done. On the inside there are some personalized post it notes we had ordered for my daughter's teacher.

I hope you are enjoying these. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Teacher Appreciation Week

Well it is Teacher Appreciation Week here and I wanted to share a couple of things I have made so far.

First of all we decorated the door for our school's PE teacher.

I used my Sports Mania Cricut cartridge for all of the ball cuts. I used my Old West Cricut cartridge for the Thank You and for the other font I used the Cricut Craftroom Basics.

I also made a quick little wrap for an XL candy bar for my daughter's teacher. Our school has a gift theme for each day so we will be sending her teacher something each day. It should be fun.

Isn't that chalkboard paper fun. It is some old paper that I've had for years made by Provo Craft. The darling little belly band is made with My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label Die and stamped with the Vintage Label Stamp set. The thank you comes from My Creative Time's My Teacher Rocks stamp set. I tied each side off with a bit of twine.

I'm sure there will be more Teacher Appreciation stuff to share later this week so make sure to stop by! Hugs- Glora
