I LOVE Basketball

Today I have a basketball card to share with you. I shared this on Everyday Cricut a while back but have not shared it here. This is a double sided tri-fold card that I designed in my Gypsy. You definitely don't have to do these double sided but I thought it made the card extra fun.

For this card I used the Sports Mania Cricut cartridge and the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut cartridge. Here is what the card looks like all closed up:

The small basketball and #1 player are both from stamp sets by My Creative Time. The #1 is from her Sports Sentiments stamp set and the basketball is from her Slam Dunk stamp set. The face on the paperdoll is a stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps called Simple Simons.

When you open the top flap (which is the basketball player) this is what you see:

The basketball and the clipboard are both from the Sports Mania cartridge and the basketball player and his accessories are from the Everyday Paper Doll cartridge.

Then when you open the second flap, which is the basketball, this is what you will see:

The slam dunk sentiment and smaller basketball are from the Slam Dunk stamp set and the I {heart} basketball and #1 stamps come from the Sports Sentiments stamp set by My Creative Time and this face is also a Simple Simon face stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps.

I have made one other double sided tri-fold card in the past and if you are interested in taking a look at it I will leave you a link below:

  1. Very CUTE! I don't see a crease in his hand. There is one, right? Or have you done some trick fold? ;) Always a pleasure stopping by Glora. I checked out your link as well and I really like the way you did that one too!

  12. Thank you so much for reposting here. I spent half a day on Monday looking for this card again. After I first saw it, I designed one using books and apples to make for my sons' teachers for end of the year gifts. I placed all the pieces on several different layers in CCR. Now it is time to cut it out and I wanted to refresh how you did it. I thought I was crazy that I couldn't find it again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
