Throwback Thursday and EXCITING News!

First of all I have to share my SUPER exciting news! I've known for almost a week, but Emma (My Creative Time) decided to do a design team and she chose me along with 7 other talented crafters. Can I just say that the fact that she chose me has put me on cloud 9. She is one of the sweetest crafters around. She was the second 'follower' of my blog (my sweet husband was the first). She is amazingly talented and so positive and encouraging towards other crafters. Oh and did I mention that she just came out with some super adorable sentiment stamps! This is going to be an awesome team to be on. I can't wait for my 3 month adventure! THANKS SO much to Miss EMMA!!!!

Every other Thursday Emma does a challenge on her blog called Throwback Thursday. This week we could use whichever cartridge we wanted but needed to incorporate a heart. Here is my kitty valentine that I made yesterday:

I had already made this little puppy valentine card last Sunday. I wanted to share it now because I think they make a super cute set. This dog and cat come from the Sweethearts cartridge, and in my opinion, they are not all that cute with the faces they come with, but add a Peachy Keen Stamps face and they are SERIOUSLY about the CUTEST things on earth!

Oh, I love Valentine's Day. I'm looking forward to making lots of other cute Valentines. How about all of you?

The cat and the dog both have a bobble head thanks to an Action Wobble. Here is yet another short video showing how fun these Action Wobbles are.

Items Used:

*Sweethearts Cricut cartridge -dog & cat
*Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cartridge- wide scalloped heart
*Gypsy to weld scalloped hearts into a shape card
*Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Face Parts
*Meow Sentiment - Studio G
*Love Always sentiment- My Pink Stamper
*lots of inking, including Tim Holtz Vintage Paper Ink
*Chalks
*Sakura White Gellyroll
*Felt Ribbon

  35. Glora,

Sorry! 3 comments on one of your blog posts?! Maybe you don't have to approve this one, but I didn't want to forget to ask you: where did you get that adorable felt "ribbon"?!

I wish I had gotten the Big Shot instead of the Cuttlebug, so I could cut felt (& cork, & magnets, & ...)!

Miss you & hope that you're enjoying the balancing act!
