Today we are 'scrapping the little things' over at My Creative Time. A lot of people are into smash books and Project Life right now and both of these things encourage us to scrape the little things in our lives not just the big things.
Well I'm way behind on my scrapbooking so I figure if I'm going to add the little things in and not just the big things I'm going to have to figure out a way to do it quickly and easily. And that is exactly what this project was quick, easy and clean looking.
I decided it would be fun to do a page up of our recent school shopping experience. My youngest girl LOVES Minnie Mouse to pieces so her shoe and clothing selection did not surprise me at all. I figure that this page will go really cute next to a page with her dressed up in her new outfit and I will add some journaling to the other page too.
I designed the whole layout on my computer and then printed it out on matte photo paper. I mounted it on a piece of black cardstock and then added some awesome My Creative Time products to make it just right. The My Creative Time products I used to make this layout are: Just Simply Live stamp and die set, the Build a Banner Kit and the Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set.
Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see the awesome layouts that Emma and the design team made. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen September Release Sneak Peek
Hello friends. I hope you are ready for some seriously ADORABLE fall stamps because that is what you will be getting in the September Stamp Kit of the Month from Peachy Keen Stamps.
For my card I used the little bat and the jack-o-lantern that you can find on this set.
For my card I used the little bat and the jack-o-lantern that you can find on this set.
The cute little bat was stamped on purple cardstock and inked up with some white chalk ink. I put some chalk on his cheeks and some glossy accents on his eyes and fangs. He is also on an Action Wobble (I had to cut off some of the adhesive from around the wobble to make it fit but there was still plenty to keep him on there for a good long time). The darling little Jack-O-Lantern is stamped on orange cardstock and inked up with some orange ink around the edges. I added glossy accents to his eyes, nose and mouth. I love how it makes it look like the flame is really glowing in side him. The sentiment is also from this set. The paper I used for the background already came with this scene on it I just added a few stars and some faux stitching. The paper is from a DCWV Halloween mat stack.
Here is a quick video showing the bat on an Action Wobble and of the card in general.
Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen blog so you can see all of the other awesome projects made with the new release. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Note Cards
Hello Peachy Keen Fans! Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog. I have a few fun note-cards to share with you using some of the most recent Peachy Keen releases. I'm excited to have a few of these made up already to give to my daughter throughout the year.
These are 3" x 3" cards made using the awesome new 3x3 Trifold Card Die by My Creative Time. This die comes as part of the new Card Sentiments Stamp set. All of the patterned paper comes from a 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye called School Daze. Here are some close up pictures and information about the Peachy stamp sets I used on them.
This cute little PB & J sandwich was made using a set called Sandwich Fun. There are two different sandwiches on this set. One is a whole sandwich and the other has a bite out of it like the one above. There are two different sentiments and four fun faces. I used Glossy Accents on the nose and the eyes.
And last of all this little cutie was made using the Recess Jump Rope Girl. She is just too cute and she comes with 3 darling sentiments too.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

MCT New Challenge- Pinterest Inspired Project
Hi crafty friends. It is time for another My Creative Time Challenge. Emma is hosting this challenge and the theme is to make a Pinterest Inspired Project. I hope you will all join in the fun and link up on Emma's blog.
I found this awesome back to school idea on Pinterest and HERE is where you can find the original project. I think it is such a creative idea! They used flowers in their project but my daughter's teacher had asked for a few classroom supplies including new pencils so I thought this would be a cute way to send her some new pencils.
Isn't that fun? We have a gazillion letter magnets, in fact too many to fit in their container, so this was a fun way to use some of the extras. You can get the full instructions on how to make this off the original blog HERE. It is super simple and cute.
I used some pretty chevron ribbon from May Arts for the bow and the cute little dies in the middle are the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies by My Creative Time and the Back to School stamped sentiment is from Emma's My Teacher Rocks! stamp set.
Make sure to check out Emma's blog and see what everyone has made for this challenge and join in the fun too. I can't wait to see what you all make! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time August Release Blog Hop
Yay, the day is finally here and you can purchase all of your favorite stamps and dies from the My Creative Time August release. If you came here from Cindy B's awesome blog then you are in the right place if not make sure that you start back at Emma's blog so that you don't miss out on anything.
Today I have a couple of projects to share with you.
First of all we are planning a winter trip to Disneyland. I thought it would be fun to give my children some souvenir cash inside a cute little pocket card. I used the ornament die from the Warm Holiday Fun stamp set, the straight black line is also from that set. To make my ornament a Mickey ornament I cut 2 little circles from the circle die in Emma's Build a Banner Kit. The card was made using the 3x3 Tri-Fold Card die that is included with the Card Sentiments set. And last of all the sentiment came from the It's a Magical Season stamp set.
Here is what it looks like opened up. I just glued the sides down to make a little pocket for the souvenir money.
I also made a scrapbook layout that could be used for the upcoming trip. This is an 8 1/2 x 11 sized layout. I just love how it turned out and wish that this picture did it full justice.
Here is a close up of the tag.
This tag is one of Emma's Tag Dies and the sentiment comes from the It's a Magical Season stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in watermark ink and heat embossed it with red tinsel embossing powder. This stuff is SUPER sparkly in person. I love how it looks. I tied it off with some pretty red and white twine.
Here is a closer look at the Polaroid dies that go down the left side.
I did the same thing to make these Mickey ornaments as I did on the cash card above. I cut the pieces out using some pretty Core Couture Glitter cardstock by Core'dinations. It is also super sparkly in person. The middle picture of Mickey and Minnie with Santa actually came from some sheets of stationary I bought at Disneyland a few years back. The 'believe' sentiment came from the From Our Family to Yours stamp set. The fancy edged Polaroid die comes in the new Just Simply Live stamp set.
And last of all here is a closeup of one of the ornaments in the Polaroid die.
This is the set that inspired my blog hop projects today. It is called It's a Magical Season.
