MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 2

If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Blog Hop just click HERE.

Well are you loving Emma's new mini release this month? I'm so excited to have these new My Creative Time stamps and dies. They are going to make my holiday treat giving a breeze.

When I first saw the new tag it seemed the perfect size to make a little treat slider with. I used Mini Hershey's Milk Chocolate candy bars for all of these but I believe something like a Laffy Taffy would probably work too. I made one for each of the upcoming holidays.

Here is a close up of the Halloween one:

For this one I used the new Just Tags along with last months stamp set called Treats For My Sweet. When you pull up on the ribbon the candy slides up with it, thus a TREAT slider. The slider idea wasn't my own I have seen a couple of YouTube videos in the past that showed hot chocolate and apple cider sliders I just added my own twist by making it a treat slider. This is what it looks like when you pull up on the bow:

My girls were pretty enchanted with how it could slide in and out. Simple but fun and a breeze to make.

Here is the Thanksgiving one close up:

For this one I used a Turkey from the Peachy Keen Country Bumpkin Minis stamp set along with the letters from the Just Simply Live stamp set by My Creative Time. These would make cute little Thanksgiving name place markers. The will actually stand up on their own with the candy inside.

And last of all this is a close up of the Christmas one:

For this one I used the new Just Tags, the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die, the new All Around Goodies and the previously released All Around Christmas.

Here is a REALLY quick video showing how to put one of these together. It is just music playing in the background because the kids were being lively :).

You will notice that I started the video with my tag cut out kind of like a card. I have another video that shows you how to do that with dies. You can find that video in this POST. You DO NOT have to do it that way. You could just use REALLY tacky glue on each side of two tags or you could machine stitch the sides as well. I just thought it would be easier to have one side already stuck together.
