Baptism Cards

I figured these cards were good to share on a Sunday. I work with the children in my church on Sundays in what we call Primary. When these children get baptized I like to give them a special little card.

Here is one of my simple boy ones. I used the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge for this card. I also used the Many Greetings stamp set by My Creative Time.

And here is a simple girl one (sorry the angle isn't terrific). I took a few quick pictures before taking the card to her and this was the 'best' one. I borrowed this card's design from the beautiful baptism card that my talented sister-in-law made for my daughter's baptism.

For this card I again used the Many Greetings stamp set along with the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I used some adhesive pearls, Prima Flowers, satin ribbon and the BloomDot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Hospital Doll - PKS Sneak

So our children's specialty hospital gives out these dolls. We had went in for an orientation and they gave one of these to each of my daughters. They told them they could take them home and decorate them how they want. When I mentioned that they would be cute with a Peachy Face my girls got SO excited. We came home and decorated them up by stamping some "new" Peachy Keen face stamps on the dolls. We used The Moodies 2.25" faces.

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek Day 3

Have you been LOVING all the Peachy Keen sneak peeks? Well Kathy has done it again and created some more AMAZING stamps! I love this April kit and the face sets are some of my all time favorites.

Here is a fun graduation card I made using the bee and graduation cap off this April 2013 SKOTM set. I also used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut the SVG's for the perfect outline.

Doesn't that bee and its sweet face just make you smile?

The polka dot paper is by PaperTrey Ink. The twine is from The Twinery. I used Copics to color my bee and some Stickles and StarDust gel pen for the sparkle. I hope you like it.

Make sure to stop by the PKS blog to check out what everyone else has made. I know you won't be disappointed. Hugs- Glora

Happy Easter Treat Basket

It is time for another 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time.

For my project I got my inspiration from a recent trip to Archiver's. They had these paper baskets that I've made before, but there's had something different. They had a peeking bunny over one of the edges. They had used some paper punches and hand drawn a face on theirs too. I couldn't get over the cute idea and knew that I had to make one but with Emma's dies and with a Peachy Keen Face Stamp.

To make my bunny I used Emma's Stitched Circle Die and the Stitched Oval Die. Easy peasy but cute too. I used the Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8" faces by Peachy Keen Stamps for the face. The sentiment is from Emma's To My Best Peep stamp set and the little piece I stamped on is a die from the Chunky Jar Accessories set.

If you haven't made one of these baskets before it is SUPER simple. My friend Pam made a video tutorial on how to make these a while back. Click HERE if you are interested in seeing her video. Most people make these with a 12x12 piece of paper (which requires a LOT of candy to fill it). I was going for something a little smaller and used a 6x6 piece of paper.

If you are interested in making these in different sizes I will give you some measurements below that might help you out:

*The original 12x12 size is scored at 4" and 8" (when completed the base and each side panel is 4"x4")

*For a 9"x9" piece of paper score at 3" and 6" (when completed the base and each side panel is 3"x3")

*For a 7.5"x7.5" piece of paper score at 2.5" and 5" (when completed the base each side panel is 2.5"x 2.5")

*For a 6"x6" piece of paper score at 2" and 4" (when completed the base and each side panel is 2"x2"). THIS is the size that I used for this project!

And if you want to make a really tiny one...
take a 3"x3" piece of paper and score at 1" and 2" (when completed the base and each side panel is 1"x 1")

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog and check out the other 3D projects!

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Bridal Shower Congratulations!

Hi, I'm just popping by to share a super simple card that I made for my niece's bridal shower.

The colors are a little lighter in real life and are the colors for her wedding. The purple is really more of a lilac but you get the general idea. The polka dot paper I used is the Bitty Dots collection by PaperTrey Ink. The stamps are from the December 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some gemstone embellishments and used a EK Success punch for the scallops. Simple yet kind of elegant too.

There's No BUNNY Like YOU!

Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. I chose the cut this month and it was the cute little bunny in the Easter basket from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. I LOVE that cartridge  A LOT!

Here is my easel card shut:

And here it is open:

The card base is from the Baby Steps cartridge. I used the Cute and Cuddly Faces  (1 1/8") by Peach Keen Stamps for the bunny face. The darling sentiment comes from one of My Creative Time's original sets Color Me Happy and the shapes I stamped on are dies by My Creative Time called Curly Label Die and Stitched Curly Label Die. Besides that I did a bunch of faux stitching and added some glossy accents and VOILA!

Sports Lover Layout

Happy Monday, today we are 'Scrapping the Little Things' over at My Creative Time.

Here is a fast and fun scrapbook page that I made using My Creative Time stamps.

P.S. this is a picture of one of my darling nephews from YEARS ago. Sorry to have made you guys think that this was my little guy, he isn't quite this big yet but he is getting there :).

For this layout I used My Creative Time's Sports Sentiments, Black Belt stamp set and Soccer stamp set. Like I said simple and easy but I like it.

Make sure to check out the projects on Emma's blog. I know they will be FANTASTIC. Hugs- Glora
