Hello Peachy Friends. Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a fun and simple thank you card to share with you.
I recently had a baby and have been given some beautiful blankets and I wanted to make a special thank you card that looked kind of like a quilt.
This was really easy to do. First I stamped PK-298 Grampa's Pajamas on a light blue 4"x5" piece of cardstock and I also stamped PK-119 Lattice Background on a 4"x5" piece of white cardstock. From there I cut out 1" square pieces and laid them out in an alternating pattern. When everything was glued down I used the Simply Stitched Borders by Market Street Stamps to make my stitching between the pieces of 'fabric.' The perfect sentiment in the middle comes from PK-124 Thank You Dolls.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen 3D Challenge - Gift Bags
It is time for another fun Peachy Keen challenge. This week we are using our Peachy Keen Stamps to make gift bags. I had a lot of fun with this & I think you will too. I hope you can join in the fun!
For my bag I used a generic kraft colored gift bag and stamped it up randomly with the darling little frog off of the June 2012 SKOTM. I also paper pieced the frog for the tag. All of the patterned papers are from the DCWV Nana's Nursery paper pad. The cute little bow on the tag was made with some hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The Happy Birthday sentiment was made with some old Provo Craft alphabet stickers I've had sitting around for years. I added a little tissue paper at the top and it was done. Pretty simple and easy but a fun way to add some fun to a generic gift bag.
I want to make sure to let you know that there is a special sale going on at Peachy Keen Stamps right now. So make sure you HOP on over and check it out!!!
Also make sure to stop by the PKS Challenge blog to find out more details on the challenge and to see what the other designers have created for you. Have a great one! Hugs- Glora

Guest Designing for Emma
Hello friend, today I'm guest designing for the incredible Miss Emma of My Creative Time while she is busy taking care of her beautiful family.
Today I have a baby announcement to share. This card has a simple, clean style because I'm making a little more than 30 of these to mail out to family members to announce the recent arrival of our little boy.
For this card I used the following items: My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die, and My Creative Time's All Star Baby Stamp set. I also used: the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge, the Welcome Baby Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and Boy Mate Faces by Peachy Keen Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you all have a wonderful day. Please make sure to continue to keep Emma and her beautiful family in your thoughts and prayers! Hugs- Glora

Hoppin' By to Say... Happy Birthday
Here is yet another card, in more detail, from the Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog Hop.
The card base comes from the Create a Critter cartridge sized at 4.25 x 5.5". The background rectangle was hand cut at 3.5" x 4.75". This frog came from the Paisley Cricut cartridge, I cut him at 3.25" (I trimmed off his crown). The sentiment for this card come from the June 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamp. I just masked some of the existing sentiments a little bit to get just what I wanted. The perfect frog faces comes from the Peachy Keen Stamps Baby Animals Faces. I used some glossy accents to shine up the eyes a bit. All of the papers are Core'dinations. I used the Core'dinations sander on my pre-embossed background. All of the edges are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I also did a lot of faux stitching with my Sakura GellyRoll Pen.
I hope your day is absolutely FABULOUS! Hugs- Glora

Simply Crafts Challenge for July
Hi and Happy Independence Day! Today is the first Wednesday of the month which means Pam & I are doing another Simply Crafts Challenge. The cut for this challenge is the little girl in the airplane from the Cricut Lite Beep Beep cartridge. If you would like to join in the challenge you can find more details HERE on the Simply Crafts Challenge blog.
Here is my card (I switched up the cut a little bit and made it a little boy instead of a little girl). I cut several of these and thought they would make some quick and cute thank you cards. Unfortunately all of the rest of the pieces are still sitting on my desk just waiting to be put together. I just haven't had much time for crafting right now, but when I do, they will be waiting for me.
The darling face on this little boy is a sneak peek from the newest Peachy Keen Stamps release. Isn't it such a sweet face? The adorable embossed clouds are from Emma's most recent release Fly Away With Me Dies and the sentiments come from the Fly Away with Me Sentiments.
Make sure to stop by Pam's blog to see what she made with this cut and go to Simply Crafts Challenge blog if you would like to play along. Have a terrific day. Hugs- Glora
