My Teacher ROCKS!

What a crazy and fun week this has been and boy has it flown by. I have a feeling this weekend is going to go even faster. Anyway, I wanted to share another one of the cards that I made for my daughter's teacher this week. I will probably be showing some more of my Teacher Appreciation cards/projects next week.

I totally had fun with this. That super cute background note paper is an awesome background stamp called Vintage Notepad by Market Street Stamps. The perfect and adorable sentiment is from the My Teacher Rocks! stamp set by My Creative Time. And that super cute bear is the Peachy Keen- CottageCutz Tear Bear. She is SUCH a cutie! The bear is also attached to an Action Wobble so that she really rocks. I didn't do a short video this time, but I'm sure you can imagine it wobbling :).

A couple of reminders:

My Creative Time's Design Team Day

Today is a design team day over at My Creative Time. For our projects we had a super cute sketch to work with and we were supposed to used the color red. Here is the sketch:

Emma asked me to use the 'You're My Best Buddy' stamp set for this project. This set is perfect for Father's Day but also has some great sentiments for the man in your life all year round. This is my card:

I also wanted to mention that Emma has just come out with a brand new stamp set. It is called Race For the Cure. This is a "Special" set Emma designed~ By purchasing this set you are partnering with My Creative Time to help "Stamp Out" breast cancer. For each set that is purchased, My Creative Time will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure! I think this set is going towards a great cause. It has a lot of beautiful sentiments that could be used for a variety of cards and projects. Here is a picture of this set.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will stop by Emma's blog to see what amazing projects the Design Team has made. Make it a great one! Hugs- Glora

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #4

Wow, another month has come and gone and it is the first Wednesday of May, which means it is time for another Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam challenge. If you are new to this, my crafty friend Pam and I challenge each other to make a project with a specific Cricut cut each month. It is a lot of fun. This month it was my turn to choose. I choose the girl singing with a microphone in her hand from the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge.

This card is business envelope sized. I saw this tall, skinny girl and wanted to make a tall card for her. I love this sentiment from Emma's (My Creative Time's) Wow! So Many Candles stamp set. I thought it was perfect because it is like she is singing Happy Birthday to the recipient.

And I was THRILLED to see how cute the Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids face stamps look on her.

I'm so excited to see what Pam came up with on this one. I'm positive it will be AWESOME. You won't want to miss it. She has a beautiful and clean style that I absolutely LOVE. She is so talented. Click HERE to see her card!

Oh yes and a Happy Birthday wish to Miss Nikki (Scrappin' Navy Wife).

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!

Here is the card that I made for my daughter's teacher. At our school, we decorate out teacher's door and then each day of the week there is a theme. Today, was the day to write a special note of appreciation. I've been working on projects for each day. Whew, it is a lot of work, but well worth the effort.

My card is supposed to be a chalk board... but I'm not sure that it looks as much like one as I originally thought it did. I had to explain what it was to two people already today. Oh well, that white thing at the bottom is a piece of chalk too- LOL. Anyway, isn't Emma's super sweet stamp perfect for this. It is from her My Teacher Rocks! stamp set. And did you notice that super cute wood grain background. That is a new background stamp by Market Street Stamps called Woodgrain. It is perfect and it is currently on sale. And of course that is an adorable Peachy Keen Face on the owl. By the way I saw on FaceBook that Peachy Keen Stamps is having a sale on Saturday, May 7th (for National Scrapbooking Day) with 99 cent shipping too. I just had to share.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Imagination Monday Design Team Project and Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge

Well my birthday week is over and it is time to go crazy getting Mother's Day and Teacher's Appreciation Day/Week projects going. My sister is celebrating her very first mother's day this year and I had to make a card for that special occasion. Emma's (My Creative Time's)  Mom You ROCK! stamps and the Peachy Keen Challenge combined perfectly for this. I think Emma's stamp looks SO beautiful on here! If you get a chance stop by Emma's blog and see what she and the other Design Team members made.

Now you are probably wondering where the Peachy Keen stamp is. Well, it isn't required for this particular challenge, but there is a Peachy Keen Stamp on here. Do you know what it is? If you guessed the super cute polka dots you are right. I've been eyeing up these lovely polka dots for a while because I LOVE polka dots. Now I can make my own polka dot paper whenever I want. This stamp is not a full A2 size but it lines up perfectly and easily. It only took two times stamping it to cover the whole background. This stamp is called PK-102 Small Polka Dot . I'm loving it!

I'm also entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge and the My Craft Spot Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Items Used:

*A Child's Year Cricut cartridge
*My Creative Time stamps - Mom You ROCK
*Peachy Keen Stamps - Small Polka Dot
