Simple Thank You Cards

I just got in my order of beautiful Market Street Stamp background stamps. I played with a couple of them yesterday, and I LOVE them. I stamped the Vintage Wallpaper stamp with watermark ink and I LOVED it so much I couldn't cover it up with anything. So, I decided to make a couple of super simple thank you cards with it. The perfect little thank you sentiments are from Emma's (My Creative Time's) stamp set called So Grateful for You.

And here is the second one...

Have a great day!!!

Sweet Baby Announcements

My sister just had a sweet baby girl and wanted me to make some baby announcements. I put 20 of these together and I totally lost track of how much time it took to put them all together, but they are done and she loves them so I am happy.

After I had started to make these, I realized that my cards look like a simplified version of a super cute card my friend Pam made. You should check her card out HERE.

Here is another variation that I made of the same card as we were trying to figure out exactly what my sister wanted.

The inside top of the card has a cute picture of her baby and then the bottom has all of her birth information.

Anyway, I hope you are having a sweet day!

Lucky to Have a Friend Like YOU!

That title is perfect, because I am lucky to have friends like you. I guess this is one of those last minute posts. The deadline is in less than two hours, but I made it. This card is my Let's Face it Friday Peachy Keen entry. The challenge was to use stitching (real or faux) and a Peachy Keen Face. I made another spinner card. Can I just say these things are addicting. I have ideas for several more too.

Anyway, here it is, face #1...

Turn the knob a little and you get face #2...

Spin a little more and you get the final face, face #3...

All the face stamps are Peachy Keen Stamps. #1 is Wide Eyed Kids, #2 is Happy Lashes & #3 is Critter Faces. Feel Better Soon - Masculine Card

Have I mentioned that I struggle with masculine cards? Well I do. Anyway, here was my attempt at a masculine get well card.

I made my first Papertrey Ink order a few weeks ago and this is my first project using some of their card stock. I used Ripe Avocado and Summer Sunrise. I also used the cute little diamond stamp from Emma's (My Creative Time's) My Journaling stamp set. I just used my versamark watermark ink pad and repeated the pattern for the size of the card. Here is a picture of this stamp set.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Thanks for visiting.

*Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge
*My Creative Time stamps - My Journaling

Happy St. Patrick's Day Card X 30

Okay, so you are going to look at this card and think it is the simplest card you've ever seen. Well it probably is. My Daddy wanted 30 St. Patrick's Day cards so he could send one to each of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He wants to write each grandchild a special note from him and my Mom and include a lucky $2 bill.

This is a tri-fold style card. You open up the shamrock...

Then open the Happy St. Patrick's Day flap and there is lots of space for writing, which I happen to know my Papa will use up completely. He loves writing notes to his family.

So, how long does it take to make 30 simple cards. Well, I don't how long it would take most of you, but it took me about 3 hours and I was feeling REALLY good about that. I completed each step for every card before moving to the next. This makes it go SO much faster. So I cut all 30 cards and then the 30 shamrocks, then I folded all of them, next I adhered the green shamrocks to each card, then I stamped all of their adorable Peachy faces, following that I stamped them all with Emma's cute sentiment and last of all I did my doodling. 3ish hours later... 30 cards... et VOILA!

Items Used:

*Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge
*Gypsy
*My Creative Time stamps - I Believe in Leprechauns
*Peachy Keen Stamps - Happy Lashes
*Black Zig Writer
*Core'dinations Linen cardstock

MS Blog Hop

Welcome to the MS (Mulitple Sclerosis) Blog Hop. If you are coming from Amy's blog, then you are in the right place! However, if you are just randomly coming up on this blog hop, please head back to Fancy Framework so that you can see ALL of the fun we have in store for you.

Our projects today all have to do with MOVEMENT. I hope you will take the time to drop by all of the stops and if you have the money, and/or are looking for a 2011 tax write-off, make a donation HERE or bid on some of the projects that are up for auction. Some of us girls are donating our projects to the cause. So if you are looking for some fun cards and/or craft items and would like to get a tax write off at the same time, then you are in luck go ahead and bid. In the comment form put BID: (and then an amount). I am a NO pressure sort of gal, so I will not feel bad if you do not want to bid on my project. Honestly. Feel free to comment for a chance to win the blog candy, whether you want to bid or not. Sound fair? Good.

Now on to my cards.

I made an everyday girl card and an everyday boy card. The darling sentiments inside are both from My Creative Time's stamp set called, Turn That Frown Upside Down. They are both on Action Wobbles and are fun to play with. They would definitely put a smile on the face of the little one that received it. They come as a set (including envelopes) so if you do bid it is for both of them, and just for fun, if the winning bid is over $10, I will include the leprechaun card posted HERE (which is also on an Action Wobble).

Outside / Inside of girl card:

Outside / Inside of boy card

Thanks so much for joining in the fun. I have 10 Action Wobbles as my blog candy, so go ahead and make a comment and I will randomly select a winner from the comments on Monday, March 7th, 2011.

The bidding on the items will go until Monday morning as well. I will let the winner know the rest of the details at that time.

Your next stop is Gloria from Girlia's Cards. If you get lost along the way, head on back to Linda's blog as she has a list of the full line up.

Throwback Thursday Design Team Project- St Patty's Day

Hello crafty friends. It is time for another Throwback Thursday Challenge. For this challenge you can use any older Cricut cartridge that you want and the theme is St Patrick's Day! Please join us in the fun and make sure to check out THIS post to see all of the fun design team projects.

Here is my card (which is also my entry for the Peachy Keen Stamps sketch challenge):

Isn't that stamped sentiment PERFECT? It is from Emma's I Believe in Leprechaun's set. The leprechaun is from Simply Charmed, however, I had to change him up just a tad. His little derby hat was cute, but I wanted to give him the leprechaun hat from Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. With the help of my awesome Gypsy, I was able to size it just the way I wanted it. Oh yes, and this happy fellow is on an Action Wobble. He had to be dancin' the St Patty's Day jig.

Here is a super quick video that my husband did the audio for. Enjoy!

Items Used:

*My Creative Time stamps - I Believe in Leprechauns
*Peachy Keen Stamps - Wide Eyed Kids
*Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge
*Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge
*Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cartridge
*Gypsy
*Patterned paper - Provo Craft
*Sakura white Gellyroll pen
*Zig black marker

Simply Crafts with Glora and Pam #2

It is time for another monthly challenge between Pam and me. I got to choose the Cricut cut this time. I chose the rainbow and clouds from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. It is on page 55 of the handbook. I made a shaped card with my Gypsy. I also hid the faces on the clouds so that I could add some cute Peachy Keen face stamps. The beautiful sentiment it from Emma's (My Creative Time's) Color Me Happy set. Kind of simple but fun. I hope you like it.

Please take a minute to check out Pam's project on her blog. Click HERE to go to her blog. I know that she has something beautiful to show you with this cut. She is amazing! Thanks for joining us.

I also decided to submit this to the Fantabulous Cricut challenge. The challenge was to make a shaped card.

*Gypsy
*My Creative Time stamps- Color Me Happy
*Peachy Keen Stamps- Wide Eyed Kids
