Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 23

Is anyone else as ready for spring as I am? I thought this Peachy Keen Challenge was the perfect recipe for my spring time wishes. This card required the following items:

* Must contain green and yellow anywhere on the project
* Must have a 3-dimensional element on the project
* Must contain a stamped image

I was so excited because I just received my new stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps and had to use it for this challenge. The set is called Everyday Face Parts PK-493. This set is so neat, you can make people, dogs, birds, penguins, snow people, etc.

Well here is my card:

Can you tell I'm looking forward to little birds singing in the white and pink blossuming trees? For this card I used a little bird cut from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge (using the blackout feature) and stamped with the Peachy Keen PK-493 face parts. The pink circle frame is also from Stretch Your Imagination. The smile sentiment and the tree branch are from Gypsy Wanderings. And the white blossums are Prima's.

A little CARD time!

In December and January I was on a tight schedule which ended up putting me on a card making drought. I'm happy to say a little free time has come back during the month of February and the drought is over. A group of ladies at my church were getting together to make cards. I made a few simple cards to help them get their creative juices flowing.

That little flower was fun, but next time I think I will go with a two tone flower to make it pop a little more.

I like how the spring green and pink look together. Yay for spring.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 22

I'm so excited to have found some time to do another Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. Here is the sketch they gave us:

Below is my take on the challenge. I used some of my ribbon and paper scraps as well as a Sleeping Beauty Stamp by EK Success. I love anything Disney and fell in love with their Disney line of Acryllic Stamps. The Birthday Wishes stamp is by Hero Arts, it is called Birthday Messages.

December & January are over... Whew

December and January are such busy months for me. Any spare time goes to Christmas prep in December and my part time job in January. I finally got a chance to make a few cards. YAY!!! Here are some VERY simple birthday cards for boys.

These are standard A2 size cards. I used some Disney scraps for the patterned paper and I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge for the cupcake and the birthday present.

Valentines Day is coming...

We made several of these for our friends and family for Valentine's Day. We used Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge for the cute heart and the lace scallop background. The paper was from the dollar spot at Target and the love you stamp is from a valentine's set of stamps from Close to My Heart. Happy Valentine's Day!
