Here's my project I created:

It is a s'more shape card that I created using a freebie file from SVG Cuts. I did modify it slightly so that it would have a graham cracker and a little ooie gooey chocolate on the top too. That darling face is by Peachy Keen Stamps. It is one of their larger face assortments called PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4" face assortment. And of course the cute and fun sentiment is from the new release by Craftin Desert Diva's called Destination Fun. Other than that I did lots of inking with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and some accent dots with my Gelly Roll pens. A touch of glossy accents for the eyes and I was done.

Here is a closeup of the sentiment. Pretty cute huh?

The ice cream cone's face is from the Snow Cuties face assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps.

My second card is a very simple birthday card.

For this card I used Emma's new It's All About You stamp set for the sentiment and the little green arrow/chevron type design. Other than that I did some inking with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I cut a couple of strips of paper.

Sending Hugs Your Way...

It is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and this one is Anything Goes (just make sure to use your Peachy Keen Stamps).

I've wanted to make this card for a while now. I even jotted a basic sketch of it down on a post-it note so I wouldn't forget. It is kind of an accordion style card. It looks pretty simple and unassuming from the front....

Then you open it and the story unfolds...

The gray piece on the end is so I can write a note, since that is the main reason why I would send a card anyway.

Here is a close up of each little scene (including the cover photo)...

I had a lot of fun with this card and thankfully it turned out just about the same as I envisioned it. This was made with Peachy Keen Stamps from the new release. I used the Brick Wall Background stamp for all of the brick walls. I stamped them in black on white cardstock and inked them up with Tim Holtz Distress inks. The eggs, faces, crack and band-aid all come from the March 2013 SKOTM. The feet, arms and sentiments come from the Wisecrack Sentiments Stamp set.

Make sure to check out what everyone else has made for this challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. I hope you can all join in the fun and play along too. Hugs- Glora

Easter Eggs Layout

Happy Monday! It is time for another My Creative Time Scrappin' the Little Things

I have lots of pictures of my kids coloring easter eggs at my Mom and Dad's house and thought it would be a fun layout to make for one of my kids.

I had too much fun with this and I must admit I really love the way it turned out. I used My Creative Time's Hello Spring Stamp set for the awesome stitched egg die. I also used the Lowercase Fun Letter Dies for the letters. I inked around all of the eggs with Distress Inks and I hand cut the grass. The two eggs with faces are a sneak peek from the March 2013 SKOTM. I used some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique for the banner and on the photo mat too.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and make sure you check out Emma's blog to see some more scrappy fun. Hugs- Glora

PKS Sneak Peek Day 3

Well it is time for some more sneaks at the March 2013 stamp release over at Peachy Keen Stamps.

I have a shape card to share with you today.

Isn't this little baby cute? She is completely made using the new March 2013 SKOTM. I paper-pieced her and colored her pacifier. I also added some glossy accents to her eyes. Other than that I just inked up all the pieces. Pretty simple. I cut the shape card from the Smiley Card Cricut cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out what everyone else has made using the new stamps on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog. Have a wonderful Sunday evening. Hugs- Glora

You are Outta This World

Well I'm back. Don't forget to check out the fun card that I posted earlier, you can scroll down to see it or click HERE and you can check out Pam's card HERE.

I wanted to post this today because I wanted to remind you that you still have a few more hours to make a card and submit it for the current Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge. It is a really fun sketch and there is tons of inspiration over on the challenge blog, so I hope you will join in the fun HERE if you haven't already.

For this card I used the February 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps as well as the Geared Up Background. I love this little robot. My 20 year old nephew is a HUGE robot fan and this card will be making its way over to him in Spain. The banner across the front was made using a die by My Creative Time called Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

Here is the original sketch. Isn't it great?!

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

You and Me

***If you are looking for my 3D Wednesday project for My Creative Time scroll down or click HERE***

Hi, I'm just stopping by really quick to show you a card that I made for the current Peachy Keen Challenge. The challenge is to make a card using hearts. I made a heart shaped card.

All of the cut pieces come from the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. The Koala cut is normally just the girl koala but I wanted to have a boy koala too so I just copied and flipped the image in my Gypsy. I used the Critter Faces (Medium) stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. I love how cute they make these images. The sentiment is from Emma's new Lots of Love stamp set.

Other than that I inked the edges with Distress Ink and added some accents with my gel pen. I added Glossy Accents to the noses and eyes and some Trendy Twine for the girl's bow. I hope you enjoyed my card. Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Stamps - October Stamp Kit Sneak Peek

Well Peachy Keen Fans, I think you are going to just LOVE this new October Stamp Kit of the Month. It is full of fall and Thanksgiving fun.

When I saw this set I knew that one of the first images I wanted to do up was this ADORABLE turkey. I love a cute turkey and this one is AWESOME.

I paper pieced all of the parts and inked them up too. I just used standard cardstock colors. I wanted to keep the card pretty simple and clean looking and I wanted that TURKEY to be the star of the card. He really is a nice sized image as this card is 4.25x 5.5" and he takes up a good portion of the card. The sentiment came from the stamp kit too.

Make sure to check out the Peachy Keen Blog so you can see what everyone else is making with this ADORABLE new kit and the other new stamp sets too! Have a fabulous day! Hugs- Glora

My Creative Time Gift Tag

Hello My Creative Time fans today I am guest designing for the super sweet and talented Miss Emma. I'm so glad that she has been able to have this time to be with her family while Baby Aaron has been recovering.

Today I have a tag to share with you. A friend of mine recently had surgery and I wanted to drop her off a loaf of banana bread with this tag attached to it.

I LOVE how well My Creative Time products work together. It made this tag a piece of cake to make and I think it will really brighten my friend's day. I used the Tag Dies for the tag, the flower image is from the Bloom Where You are Planted stamp set, and the sentiment is from Pain Pain Go Away.

I started with white cardstock and I colored the image with Copic Markers then I inked up the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. To finish it off I used some orange twill ribbon and just a bit of bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will continue to keep Emma and her family in your thoughts and prayers! Hugs- Glora

PKS Challenge 22: Sketch Challenge

Yay, it is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge and this one is a sketch challenge. I totally LOVE this sketch and I'm certain I will be using it again. Sometimes a sketch is the perfect thing to strike up some creative inspiration and I think this sketch would look really cute flipped at a 90 degree angle too. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

This turned out to be a simple and fun masculine birthday card. I used PK-117 Picnic Tablecloth Background by Peachy Keen Stamps for the background. The hamburger came from PK-114 Hot Diggity Dog and the sentiment came from PKSC-04 the April 2012 SKOTM. I paper pieced the layers and inked them up to add some shading.

Make sure you stop by the PKS Challenge Blog to see what the assigned Design Team Members came up with for this awesome sketch. Hugs- Glora

MCT April Release Blog Hop

Hello there My Creative Time friends and welcome to the April stamp and die release. If you came here from Cindy's blog you are in the right place, if not make sure that you start back at Emma's blog so you can get the whole blog hop in.

For my project today I made gift wrap for a present. I used 3 items from Emma's newest release. The background flowers that I stamped my wrapping paper with is from the Bloom Where You are Planted stamp set. The beautiful 'Happy Birthday' sentiment comes for the Floral Sentiments stamp set (I just stamped Happy and Birthday separately so they would fit on my tag). I also used both of the Rolled Flower Dies to make my flower.

I have picked up a lot of fun new tips and ideas for these flowers this week from Emma and the rest of the team. For this flower I used 2 of each die cut to make my flower. I did a very loose flower (almost flat), one slightly tighter (but still fairly flat), one almost normal and one super tight and layered them all inside each other. It turns out to be a pretty good sized flower (about 2 1/2" instead of the 1 1/4" ones that I made yesterday). I think it makes the perfect little accent for a present.

Here you can see the dimension just a little bit better.

Here is what I used from the new release:

MCT March Release Sneak Peek #4

Hello My Creative Time friends and welcome to our final day of My Creative Time sneak peeks. These are different than our normal sneaks because these stamps are already available for purchase HERE. Have you bought yours yet? They are so much fun!!!

If you are stopping by from my Everyday Cricut  I would like to thank you for stopping by again today.

The set we are all showcasing today is called Coffee Break. This set had three beautiful mini background stamps a hot drink container stamp and coordinating dies, etc.  When I saw the little mini polka dot background stamp I just knew I had to make myself a little Disney hot chocolate cup. It is one of my favorite treats to have at Disneyland when we are there for a visit in the winter.

This is just a sweet and simple card and it was SO easy to make. The hot cocoa container/die and the polka dots stamped on it come from Emma's new Coffee Break stamp and die set. The HOT COCOA and Wishing you a Cup of Cheer! sentiments both came from the Do the Cocoa Motion stamp set and then I also used the Stitched Oval Die as well. The tiny Mickey icons are actually from a paper punch I bought at Disneyland years ago. From there I just did a little inking around the edges, some faux stitching and a bit of twine. This card is 3.5" x 3.5".

With all of our Sneak Peek weeks, Emma likes to do some FUN giveaways!
***All you have to do is leave comments on our blogs! You do NOT have to comment on every blog, BUT if you do, you will just have more chances to win!

You're Egg-straordinary!

Hi, I have a super quick card to share with you today. It is a little 3.5 x 3.5" note card that I made using one of Emma's newest release stamps sets Happy Hunting

I tried a new technique (for me) on the background. You ink the background up with Tim Holtz distress ink and then you spray your stamp with glimmer mist and stamp it. For the background stamp I used Emma's pretty floral background stamp from the Spring Chicken Background stamp set. This gives a really cool effect in person. The inner part has the exact impression of the background stamp and then it gives a glittery outline to everything. I just wish it showed up better on this picture. Oh and I also stamped and colored my bunny on PaperTrey Ink Kraft cardstock.

Well that's it for today. I hope you have a TERRIFIC day! Hugs- Glora
