Bridal Shower Congratulations!

Hi, I'm just popping by to share a super simple card that I made for my niece's bridal shower.

The colors are a little lighter in real life and are the colors for her wedding. The purple is really more of a lilac but you get the general idea. The polka dot paper I used is the Bitty Dots collection by PaperTrey Ink. The stamps are from the December 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some gemstone embellishments and used a EK Success punch for the scallops. Simple yet kind of elegant too.

Make a Wish, Fairy Birthday Card

My daughter recently had a birthday and she made sure to tell me what kind of a birthday card she wanted. She wanted TinkerBell's fairy friend Fawn on it. This is a very fitting choice for my daughter because she LOVES animals and Fawn is an Animal Fairy. Anyway, I had two options for Fawn my TinkerBell Cricut cartridge or some EK Success Fairy Stamps that I have had for a couple of years. I just happened to be in the mood for coloring so the stamps won over the debate. And here is her card:

The beautiful orange background paper is made with a background stamp by Market Street Stamps called Punched Tin. I stamped it with watermark ink then embossed it with clear embossing powder! I always love the way the clear embossing turns out! The beautiful sentiment is from My Creative Time's Polka Dot Surprise stamp set! This was one of Emma's earlier sets and I just find myself using it over and over again. I LOVE it!

Here is a little bit of a close up of Fawn (I used some Crystal Stickles on her wings and colored her with Copic Markers):

I hope you are having a terrific day! Take care! Hugs- Glora

Items Used:

My Creative Time stamps - Polka Dot Surprise
Market Street Stamps - Punched Tin
EK Success - Disney Fairies Clear Stamps
Clear Embossing Powder
Copic Markers

You Are Still Young at Heart

I come from a family of young and old Disney lovers that are all kids at heart. I thought this card would be perfect to have on hand for a birthday card. I'm using it for two different challenges. The first is the Peachy Keen Stamps sketch challenge, I love the sketch and hope to use it again soon. The second is for the Crazy About Cricut birthday challenge. For this challenge we were to make something that we love or a birthday project. Well I did both, it is a birthday card but it is also inspired by something I love, DISNEY.

and here is the inside of the card...

I used two sets of My Creative Time stamps, Wow! So Many Candles and Polka Dot Surprise!. I LOVE, love, LOVE these stamps.

This is a business envelope sized card. I hope you like it. I also wanted to remind you that Monday will be the start of my birthday celebration. I hope you will pop by and see what I have in store for you all. Have a wonderful day.

Secret Notes

My girls helped me plan a little surprise for their Daddy who left on a business trip last week. They helped me color up some 3 x 3 note cards for each day he is gone. I colored Daisy and the little duck. My oldest daughter colored Mickey and my littlest colored Donald.

We also made up a few goody bags. I will post them later.

Items Used:

EK Success stamps (Disney)
Peachy Keen Stamps (Duck)
My Creative Time stamps (sentiments except on the duck one)
Copic Markers
Crayola Markers
Colored Pencils

You're the Best!

Another Disney card :). I must have Disneyland on my mind... too bad I won't be back there for a few more months. I made this card for three different challenges. I thought that the elements of each challenge would combine nicely... so here it is. (I couldn't get the one bling Mickey to photograph well, so this is the best one I got).

Made by Momo's Tuesday challenge asked for white, black and one other color. Cricut Cardz wanted scallops. And Always Scrappin' Whimsical Wednesday Challenge wanted buttons brads and/or bling.

For this card I used the EK Success Mickey Mouse border punch, Mickey Font for the Mickey head and Mickey Font and George combined with my sweet Gypsy to make the Mickey scallop. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, some bling, and some string.

Pixie Perfect

Emma at My Creative Time had another Throwback Thursday Challenge. This one was with the Tinker Bell cartridge. I just had to join in because I am a total Disney nut and I LOVE Tinker Bell and her pixie friends.

These characters take a little bit of patience to put together but they sure are beautiful when they are done. I used my Xyron to add glitter to the wings and then I used my glossy accents on top to make them pop (My Craft Spot has a great video demo on this process). I used my EK Success Tinker Bell stamps for the Pixie Perfect sentiment. Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 25

Yea for another Peachy Keen Stamps challenge. They gave us another awesome sketch to work with. I am in charge of the family birthday cards this month and wanted to incorporate this sketch for one of my niece's cards. She is a major TinkerBell lover. So here is my entry.

The patterned paper is from a Disney princess collection. The TinkerBell stamps are by EK Success. I used my Prismacolor colored pencils and blended them and then I added some stickles on Tink. The flowers are Primas and I used a glitter brad in the middle. The solid colored cardstock is by Provo Craft. The colors are a little more vibrant in person, but a camera doesn't always pick everything up perfectly.

And here is the awesome sketch.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 22

I'm so excited to have found some time to do another Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. Here is the sketch they gave us:

Below is my take on the challenge. I used some of my ribbon and paper scraps as well as a Sleeping Beauty Stamp by EK Success. I love anything Disney and fell in love with their Disney line of Acryllic Stamps. The Birthday Wishes stamp is by Hero Arts, it is called Birthday Messages.

Birthday Cards

I thought I would post some pictures of a few birthday cards I have made. Enjoy.

I love anything DISNEY. So, I love my Disney print programs, stamps, papers, etc. Did I say that I LOVE DISNEY!!!

I LOVE my Cuttlebug and my Cricut!!! But I also love my stamps, ribbon, patterned paper, you name it! My style changes constantly, but I definitely go for a pretty basic and simple look. Probably because I like the way it looks and I don't have hours to spend on every card or scrapbook layout that I make.
