My Creative Time's Design Team Day - God Bless America

Today over at My Creative Time we are posting projects in honor of the anniversary of September 11th. What a sad and scary day that was. I remember it very well, as I'm sure you do as well. I am truly thankful for the freedom that I enjoy and the many men and women who work hard to keep our country safe and free.

For this card I used a couple of Emma's stamp sets. For the star background and the God Bless America sentiment I used 'My Little Firecracker' stamp set. Then for the 'Thank You for your Service' I used the 'Happy Homecoming' set. I also have to say that I'm LOVING how many sentiments fit PERFECTLY into Emma's 'Stitched Oval Die.'

I hope you will drop by the My Creative Time blog to see what Emma and the rest of the design team have in store for you!!!! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Happy New Year!

I know that I'm a little late, but it is only the 3rd, so Happy New Year. I saw a lot of New Year cards on everyone's blog and I asked my husband what he thought the main theme was. He said, "The Baby New Year." I replied, "No, I didn't see any of those at all." So he suggested that I should make one. Here it is and happy 2011 to all of you.

I attached my Baby New Year to an Action Wobble so he could be partying. Here is a really short video of him dancing, sorry that the card is a little slanted in the video, it was late.

I wanted to submit this project for the Paper Playtime face challenge. It is sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps. You should definitely join in this super fun challenge for a chance at some amazing Peachy Keen Stamps.
