My sister-in-law has an October birthday (no worries she doesn't check my blog so I'm not ruining her surprise). She LOVES candy corn and so I thought this cute cupcake would be the perfect thing for her birthday.
I stamped the cute face on with the discontinued Happy Camper stamp from Peachy Keen. I also stamped the circle sprinkles on in orange, yellow-orange, and yellow. I hope your day is sprinkled with fun.
Ingredients:
Once Upon a Princess - cupcake
Doodlecharms - candy corn
Happy Camper face - DISCONTINUED- Peachy Keen Stamps

Too Cute To Spook!
It's time for another Peachy Keen Challenge. This challenge is a sketch with a twist. We need to use some kraft cardstock. I had this idea pop into my head and I ran with it. I grabbed my Peachy Keen- Cottage Cutz Penguin Doll die and stamp set and my Gypsy and went to work creating this cute little witch costume for my penguin. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. It just makes me smile every time I look at it. I hope you enjoy it too.
Here is a close up of my trick or treating penguin.
For this card I used the following items:
Penguin Doll die cut and stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps and CottageCutz
The witch hat, cape and treat bucket are all from Happy Hauntings (I did some tweaking in my Gypsy to get everything to work just right for this little cutie).
My Pink Stamper - Spooky Puns
Sponge and black ink for the edges
Chalk

Quacky Birthday!
This card is for my niece's birthday next week.
I stamped the cute little Peachy Keen Stamps Duck Dolls on yellow patterned paper. I colored in the beak and the feet and then cut the ducks out. I discovered I need better detail cutting scissors, but with a little x-acto knife help I made it. This is a pretty simple card. I like the colors and the stamps are the cutest. I'm entering this in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge and My Pink Stamper's 5 million hit challenge. I hope you are having a quacky day :).

This little project is for Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Challenge #1. My container is the Easter basket from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I just tweaked the scallops for ghosts and pumpkins on my Gypsy. Here is a view of the front of the basket.
This is a view from the top. I switched out the Easter flower for a bat.

Halloween Card and the Winner
I thought I would show you a super simple card that I made with one of the Halloween Cuttlebug embossing folders. The pumpkins aren't real pumpkin die cuts. They are just the middle of some letter O's that I had cut out and saved. I like to save those kinds of things, in hopes that I will use them later. The stems are just a loop of ribbon scrap left over from trimming the ribbon on the side of the card. And last of all the Trick or Treat stamp is My Pink Stampers Spooky Puns.

Apple Card and a Giveaway
The giveaway is now closed, but comments are still welcome. Thanks.
I made this super sweet green apple card. It will be a thank you card for my daughter's amazing teacher. I love the adorable Peachy Keen Stamp on her. This is a really big stamp meant for a 9" to 11" paper doll, but works perfectly on a 5" apple. Unfortunately the stamp is discontinued. I'm SO glad I got it when I did. I think I will use it a lot.

Yes, I did mention something about a giveaway. I have done 100 posts and I have 50 followers. This makes me happy. The giveaway isn't much but it might help you with any upcoming Halloween projects. Because of shipping costs I'm only offering this giveaway for people living in the US and Canada. I'm not anticipating a lot of entries so your chances of winning are probably pretty good. All you need to do is leave a comment on this post. I will pick a winner at some point on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. The prize is pictured below. Good luck.

Happy Grandparents' Day!
I noticed on the calendar that September 12th was Grandparent's Day. None of my grandparents are still alive but I thought it would be fun for my kids to do something for their grandparents. My oldest daughter helped me out a lot. She had some cute and fun ideas. I did some of the harder things like designing her ideas, cutting them out and scoring, but she applied the fun flock to the Mickey balloon, did the gluing, pop dotting, stamping and such. We added some yummy chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, and chocolate covered almonds to the pillow boxes. Yum. We hope they liked them.
Grandpa and Grandma Mouse got the Mickey Mouse themed set.
Have a great day!

PKS 36 - Rainy Day
Time for another Peachy Keen Stamps challenge. This is a sketch and color challenge (melon, daffodil & cobalt). I tried to think of things that might naturally be these colors and this is what I came up with. You can always click on the picture if there are certain details you would like to see better.
Well this is my cute little ducky girl in her rain boots and splashing in a rain puddle. The scallops are the storm clouds. I chalked them with a gray edge (it doesn't show up very well in the picture). The blue banner brings a little sunshine. Thanks for looking. I had a lot of fun with this and I really like how it turned out. Below is the sketch for this challenge. You should come and join in the fun. Click the link at the top of the page if you would like to play along.

Cherry Birthday Wishes
This is the card that I gave to my sister-in-law for her birthday. My daughter helped with the planning. She wanted cherries on it and she wanted to choose some cute Peachy Keen face stamps to put on them. She is a good little helper.
Well, I had a SUPER INCREDIBLY don't count on it to happen again kind of LUCKY weekend. In fact I still can't believe HOW lucky it turned out to be. I normally am not one to win things very often, but I'm excited that my luck seems to have changed a bit lately. Besides winning the 2 prizes I mentioned the other day, I also found out yesterday that I won the Happy Hauntings giveaway at My Pink Stamper. It was for the Happy Haunting cartridge AND her new Spooky Puns stamp set. WOO HOO! This is going to be fun! My daughter is already planning on putting together the 3-D haunted mansion with me.
I used Hello Kitty for the cherries, George for the circle, and the Easter 2010 cartridge for the card base. I stamped two of the Critter face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps on the cherries and added some white gel pen.

Princess Card and Other Fun Stuff
My little great-niece had a birthday this past week. Last time she was up to visit she told me Cinderella was her favorite princess. She LOVES to play dress up so I decided I would make the card as her dressed up in a Cinderella-ish dress.
I used my Once Upon a Princess cartridge for the Princess, dress, wand and crown. I just mixed and matched the items from different outfits using my hide contour feature on the Gypsy. I LOVE that feature. I don't have the Princess face stamps from Peachy Keen, but I noticed that their Critter Faces, which I do have, had a cute face that would work nicely. I like how it came out. The doll was cut at 4" and the Critter Faces are the medium sized ones. This awesome glitter paper is Coredination Couture Cardstock. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that stuff. And the stamp is by Hero Arts.
Yesterday was a LUCKY day for me. I won two different items from some amazing papercrafers. First of all I won the My Pink Stamper Family and Friends Stamps from Pam at Simply Pam's she was celebrating that she had over 250 fans with this awesome giveaway! Congratulations again Pam.
And then shortly after that I found out that I won the Halloween Stickle set from Kimberly at My Craft Spot. She is celebrating her new online store and did this giveaway to celebrate. Congratulations on your store Kimberly. These should come in handy for some fun Halloween projects.
Thanks so much to both of you!!!

Blog Awards
I feel like such a newbie to all of this. I got some blog awards from Stephanie at Always Crafting a couple of months ago and wasn't sure exactly what to do with them. Then today I got the Cherry on Top Award from Savahanna at Tiny Creativity and Raven at Love 4 Stamps. I'm not sure exactly how this works but I will do my best. I want to thanks Stepanie, Savahanna & Raven for enjoying my blog enough to share these with me. You girls are AMAZING and thank you!!!
For the Cherry on Top award I am supposed to share three things I like about myself.
1) I am dependable
2) I am a good listener
3) I love my family and religion so much
I'm supposed to share a favorite picture:
This is my husband's first trip to Disneyland. They rolled out the red carpet and he got to ride with Goofy on Gadget's Go Coaster. I'm the one grinning in the seat right behind them.
I would like to share these awards with the following amazing women. I have followed all of their blogs for a while and I love the projects they come up with. Click on their link and see all the awesome things they have created.

My Blinkie
I have got the sweetest husband EVER! He stayed up late last night making a surprise for me. He made me an adorable blinkie. Now I know you can only have so many blinkies on a blog before it starts looking crazy and cluttered. So no pressure to add mine, but I just think it is so cute, I had to share. I'm not even sure how to add the code so you can add the blinkie if you want to. I will look into that. Thanks again to my sweetie!!!
Isn't she cute? Don't you just LOVE how she winks her eye? I do. Have a great day.

You're the Best!
Another Disney card :). I must have Disneyland on my mind... too bad I won't be back there for a few more months. I made this card for three different challenges. I thought that the elements of each challenge would combine nicely... so here it is. (I couldn't get the one bling Mickey to photograph well, so this is the best one I got).
Made by Momo's Tuesday challenge asked for white, black and one other color. Cricut Cardz wanted scallops. And Always Scrappin' Whimsical Wednesday Challenge wanted buttons brads and/or bling.
For this card I used the EK Success Mickey Mouse border punch, Mickey Font for the Mickey head and Mickey Font and George combined with my sweet Gypsy to make the Mickey scallop. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, some bling, and some string.
