Stamp Book

Welcome to another 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time. For my project today I finally put together a stamp book like the one that my design team sister, Miss Crafting Katie, made. You can check out her stamp book HERE along with all the details on how to make it.

For the outside of my book I used the new Chunky Jar Accessories stamp and die set along with the Paper Princess stamp set to make my patterned paper (I used watermark ink). I used the Lowercase Fun Dies for the letters. I also used the Stitched Circle from the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die set to make my little tabs. From the outside it looks like a pretty scalloped edge but from the inside you can see my different stamp section labels.

I like how this turned out so much that I'm in the process of making one for all of my PKS Face Stamps and another one for all of my other PKS stamps. I will share what they look like here on my blog when I get them finished up.

Make sure to check out all the other 3D projects on Emma's blog! Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Congratulations - Missionary Card

Happy Sunday. I just wanted to share a 'religious' type card with you really quick. My nephew is going to be a missionary for our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). He will be going to the state of Washington. I wanted to make him a card to congratulate him.

This card was VERY easy. I used the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge and some My Creative Time stamps and dies. The die is from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies and the sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments.

Anyway, a simple and easy shape card that did that was exactly what I was looking for. Have a wonderful and peaceful Sunday. Hugs- Glora

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I just wanted to drop in and share a baby card that I made. I made a similar looking card for a baby boy back in June, if you want to see it the link is HERE.

This adorable cut is from the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. It is one of my all time favorite cartridges. The darling face on the bear is from Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces (Large). The sentiment on the star is from a new sentiment set called Twinkle Twinkle Sentiments. The 'congratulations' sentiment is from the December 2012 SKOTM and the cute little pink piece that I stamped on is a die from My Creative Time's new Treat Slider Die.

I don't normally show the inside of my cards but I love this cute little star so here it is:

The star's face is also a Peachy Keen Stamp it is from the Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment.

Have a TERRIFIC day! Hugs- Glora

You are Outta This World

Well I'm back. Don't forget to check out the fun card that I posted earlier, you can scroll down to see it or click HERE and you can check out Pam's card HERE.

I wanted to post this today because I wanted to remind you that you still have a few more hours to make a card and submit it for the current Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge. It is a really fun sketch and there is tons of inspiration over on the challenge blog, so I hope you will join in the fun HERE if you haven't already.

For this card I used the February 2013 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps as well as the Geared Up Background. I love this little robot. My 20 year old nephew is a HUGE robot fan and this card will be making its way over to him in Spain. The banner across the front was made using a die by My Creative Time called Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

Here is the original sketch. Isn't it great?!

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Have a FABULOUS Birthday!

Well Pam and I are having are monthly cut challenge. Pam chose the cut this month and it was the cute little graduation dog from the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. I didn't need a graduation card but I always need birthday cards so I made my little pup into a birthday card.

Well how about the details? For the face I used Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces XL size. I stamped the eyes only and then I chose a mouth from the set and stamped it. The awesome birthday sentiment comes from one of Emma's newest release sets called More of My Favorite Sayings. I used two Cuttlebug embossing folders, Traffic Jam and Tiny Bubbles. I also did some inking, accenting with my gel pen and I added a little Glossy Accents to the eyes.

I can't wait to see what Pam did with this cute cut. Make sure to check it out HERE. And HAVE a FABULOUS day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday to a Handy Man

I wanted to drop by real quick and share a fun birthday card that I made for my brother-in-law. He is a total handy man and I really thought he would get a kick out of this.

Don't these new PKS faces look adorable on these tools? The hammer's face is from the new Sweet and Silly Face Assortment and the screw driver's face is from the new Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment. I just can'g get enough of these cute faces. The sentiment is from the Eye Sentiments stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps and the cute little die that I stamped the sentiment on is from My Creative Time's Just Simply Live. The brads were purchased from Michael's and the blue background is the Herringbone Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

I just wanted to let you know that these ADORABLE new Peachy Keen Stamps that I used are all on sale at 20% off through TONIGHT at 8 pm CST. Also if your purchase is $35 or higher you can save an extra $5.00 by using promo code FEB5.

Have a great day! Hugs- Glora

Scrapping the Little Things

Hello crafting friends. Today we are sharing some layouts over at My Creative Time.

Here is my layout from Easter many YEARS ago...

Yes, those are Disney VHS tapes in my hands - LOL.

Here is a close up of the pretty My Creative Time products that I used on the layout.

I used the following My Creative Time products: Fun Ticket Dies, Stitched Doily Die, and To My Best Peep. The cute face on the bunny is by Peachy Keen Stamps called Cute and Cuddly Faces. The hemp on the bunny is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

Make sure to check out Emma's blog to see what everyone came up with today. Hugs- Glora
