My Creative Time Gift Tag

Hello My Creative Time fans today I am guest designing for the super sweet and talented Miss Emma. I'm so glad that she has been able to have this time to be with her family while Baby Aaron has been recovering.

Today I have a tag to share with you. A friend of mine recently had surgery and I wanted to drop her off a loaf of banana bread with this tag attached to it.

I LOVE how well My Creative Time products work together. It made this tag a piece of cake to make and I think it will really brighten my friend's day. I used the Tag Dies for the tag, the flower image is from the Bloom Where You are Planted stamp set, and the sentiment is from Pain Pain Go Away.

I started with white cardstock and I colored the image with Copic Markers then I inked up the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. To finish it off I used some orange twill ribbon and just a bit of bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will continue to keep Emma and her family in your thoughts and prayers! Hugs- Glora

Wobble Wednesday - You Can Fly

Hi crafting friends. It is time for another Wobble Wednesday Challenge and the theme for this will be YOU CAN FLY. Create a project with anything that can fly (birds, flying insects, balloons, airplanes, etc) and attach a Wobble to it. I can't wait to see what people come up with, if you want to play along look for the link and details at the Wobble Wednesday Challenge Blog.

My project is a very simple baby thank you card. I LOVE the dimension and action that the Action Wobble gives the project.

This is 3.5 x 3.5 and the inside has the sentiment...

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Thank You for Being Sew Sweet!

Hello Peachy Friends. Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a fun and simple thank you card to share with you.

I recently had a baby and have been given some beautiful blankets and I wanted to make a special thank you card that looked kind of like a quilt.

This was really easy to do. First I stamped PK-298 Grampa's Pajamas on a light blue 4"x5" piece of cardstock and I also stamped PK-119 Lattice Background on a 4"x5" piece of white cardstock. From there I cut out 1" square pieces and laid them out in an alternating pattern. When everything was glued down I used the Simply Stitched Borders by Market Street Stamps to make my stitching between the pieces of 'fabric.' The perfect sentiment in the middle comes from PK-124 Thank You Dolls.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs- Glora

Happy Bird-ay!

Here is a more detailed look at my last card from the Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog Hop.

The card base comes from the Create a Critter cartridge sized at 4.25 x 5.5". The background rectangle was hand cut at 3.5" x 4.75". This cute birthday bird is from 3 Birds on Parade. I cut her at 3.75". The sentiment for this card come from the June 2012 Stamp Kit of the Month by Peachy Keen Stamp. The little eye for the bird came from the Baby Animal Faces stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps. All of the papers are Core'dinations. I embossed the orange background with the Number Collage CuttleBug embossing folder and sanded it with the Core'dinations Sander. I inked all of the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I also added a lot of faux stitching with my Sakura GellyRoll Pen.

I hope you have a TWEET day! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen 3D Challenge - Gift Bags

It is time for another fun Peachy Keen challenge. This week we are using our Peachy Keen Stamps to make gift bags. I had a lot of fun with this & I think you will too. I hope you can join in the fun!

For my bag I used a generic kraft colored gift bag and stamped it up randomly with the darling little frog off of the June 2012 SKOTM. I also paper pieced the frog for the tag. All of the patterned papers are from the DCWV Nana's Nursery paper pad. The cute little bow on the tag was made with some hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The Happy Birthday sentiment was made with some old Provo Craft alphabet stickers I've had sitting around for years. I added a little tissue paper at the top and it was done. Pretty simple and easy but a fun way to add some fun to a generic gift bag.

I want to make sure to let you know that there is a special sale going on at Peachy Keen Stamps right now. So make sure you HOP on over and check it out!!!

Also make sure to stop by the PKS Challenge blog to find out more details on the challenge and to see what the other designers have created for you. Have a great one! Hugs- Glora
