This is the cute sketch we had to work with.
For this card I cut the circles from the George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge. I used the Peachy Keen Firecracker stamp and Peachy Keen Stamps Simple Sallies face assortment. The actual firecracker face is the white one in the middle and is absolutely adorable, I just thought I would try something different for me (to challenge myself), so I did some masking and gave each firecracker a different expression. I colored them in with my Prismacolor pencils and blending stumps.
Happy Independence Day and a BIG thank you to all of the men and women who continue to keep our country free.
Glora, your card is ADORABLE! I love how you incorporated the holiday with the sketch. AND I love how you gave each firecracker a different face! Too clever. Thanks so much for playing along at PKS this week. Happy 4th of July to you!
