For this card I used the adorable Duck and Egg Die by Peachy Keen Stamps and CottageCutz. The sentiment comes from the Duck Doll stamp set by PKS. I also used the Stitched Oval Die and the Stitched Daisy Die by My Creative Time. I got the idea of adding the extra layer of petals from my good friend Kim (HERE).

Dance Recital Gifts...

Well it is 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time and that worked out great with the fact that my daughter's needed some dance recital gifts for their friends and teacher.

My oldest girl danced to a song called Celebrate You. That was PERFECT because Emma has a stamp that says Celebrate You on her Many Greetings stamp set.

I also used the new Stitched Journal Die and the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies. I LOVE Emma's products. It seriously made these treats a SNAP to put together.

For my younger daughter one of their songs was called Topsy Turvy Flowers and so I made them all a cute flower clip that they could wear in their hair.

For these I used the sentiment from Floral Sentiments and the Flower Petal Dies.

Sorry about the glare from the plastic on these.

And last of all a quick gift card in a gift card holder for their teacher.

For this I used the Flower Petal Die, the Embossed Gift Card Holder and More Gift Card Sentiments. Whew. I think that is it.

Make sure to check out Emma's blog to see what everyone has made!

Smile... it's Contagious!

***This is my second post for today. If you would like to see my layout for Scrapping the Little Things at My Creative Time scroll down to the next post.***

Happy Monday. Today I am posting over on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a fun and simple card for you. I was inspired by a fun card that my fellow design team member. Jeanne Streiff, had made HERE. I took her basic idea and tried to make mine look like a close up picture of someone taken with a Polaroid camera.

This sweet face is from PK-1202 The Moodies 2 1/4" and the sentiment is from the brand new Baby Buzz Sentiments both by Peachy Keen Stamps. The cute Polaroid style die is called the Stitched Capture Frame with Arrow die by My Creative Time. I used a small strip of Washi tape across the die. I also added some faux stitching with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Did you know you can buy the White Gelly Roll pen from the PKS store? It is my all time favorite white gel pen.

I hope this gave you a smile for the day! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs- Glora

The Alamo... Scrapping the Little Things

Today is another Scrapping the Little Things at My Creative Time. Our challenge for our project today was to recycle something. Well I finally made some chipboard letters using a cracker box like my DT sister Shar does. I love how nice and thick they turn out.

For my page I did another one from my college choir tour to Texas.

For the main piece I used the die that comes with the Card Sentiments stamp set. It is a 3x3 Tri-Fold Card Die. I just extended the cut and flipped it over so that the fancy edge was on each end when I cut it with my Cuttlebug. I used the Stitched Button dies for the stars. And my chipboard letters (my recycled items) were made using the Lowercase Fun Dies. And last of all I stamped one of the new Journal It stamps and filled it in with my choir tour schedule for that day.

I hope you enjoyed my simple layout. Make sure to drop by Emma's blog and see what everyone else has 'recycled' in their layout today. Hugs- Glora

Cute as Can Bee Tag

I have a quick post for you today. I wanted to remind you to get your final day of sneak peeks in at My Creative Time. Tomorrow will be the blog hop and the day you can buy all of your new goodies!

I'm also popping by to share a tag that I made using some older My Creative Time dies called Just Tags and some new Peachy Keen Stamps that will be available for sale tomorrow.

The little bee was a freebie from one of the last sales at PKS and is PK-199 Baby Bee. I love this little cutie. The sentiment is from a new set of Peachy Keen Stamps called Honey Sentiments so make sure to look for it on Friday HERE. I paper pieced and colored the baby bee. I also added crystal Stickles to the wings. The ribbon is May Arts Chevron Ribbon and it is tied off with hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. Have a great one and I'll see you tomorrow! MCT Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Creative Time April stamp and die release. If you came to the pre-release blog hop on Saturday you already have a good idea of what goodies are waiting for you. This release is AWESOME.

Today we are sneaking a set called You're Brilliant. I love this set and the darling little light bulb die that comes with it. This die comes with some awesome layering capabilities to give it more dimension as well as a stamp that you can use for the light bulb filament. I decided not to stamp the filament on mine because I wanted to stamp a PKS face. But I LOVE having all the options. Emma just seems to think of everything. I really love this set and I'm certain I will be using it a lot.

I used the already existing 3x3 Trifold Card Die which is included with the Card Sentiments Stamp set. I also used the new You're Brilliant stamp set for the sentiment and light bulb die. The cute face is by PKS and is called In Stitches.

Hoppin' By to Say...

Well I'm hoppin' by to say it is Peachy Keen Challenge day! Today our challenge is another fun photo inspiration challenge. These colors are BEAUTIFUL and the picture is so fun.

I went with the colors and the picture for my inspiration. The picture reminded me of water with flowers in it. That and the colors made me think of a frog on a lily pad with flowers around it.

This is a small 3x3 note card. The stamps and sentiment all come from the June 2012 SKOTM by Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. I also added some Prima flowers and adhesive gemstones.

I can't wait to see what you all make for the challenge! You can join in HERE. Hugs- Glora

Ice Cream = Happiness

I made this tag with a very special ice cream loving person in mind. I think she will enjoy it, especially if it accompanies a little bit of ice cream.

I love how easy My Creative Times dies can make a project. It took just a few runs through the die cutting machine, a little inking, stamping and ribbon and voila, a cute little project.

The ice cream dies and the sentiment all come from Emma's Celebrate Good Times stamp and die set. The tag is from her Tag Dies set. I used some pretty chevron ribbon by May Arts and tied it off with some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The adorable faces on the ice cream cones are from the brand new The Moodies Face Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and some of the other designers came up with for today.

Don't forget about the pre-sneak party of Saturday...

and if you love those Peachy Keen Faces I used on this tag don't forget that they are 20% off through the 12th of April.

Bird Cage Thank You

Today my friend Pam and I are doing our monthly cut challenge. This month Pam chose the cut and it was the bird in the bird cage from the Straight From the Nest Cricut cartridge.

I made mine into a shape card

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Sports Sentiments stamp set. The die it is stamped on is her Stitched Oval Die. I drew an eye and beak on the bird. I added a few accent marks, gem stones and a bow. Simple but fun and it will fit in a standard A2 sized envelope too.

I'm excited to see what Pam did with this cut. You can check it out too by going to her blog HERE. Have a great one! Hugs- Glora

Baptism Cards

I figured these cards were good to share on a Sunday. I work with the children in my church on Sundays in what we call Primary. When these children get baptized I like to give them a special little card.

Here is one of my simple boy ones. I used the Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge for this card. I also used the Many Greetings stamp set by My Creative Time.

And here is a simple girl one (sorry the angle isn't terrific). I took a few quick pictures before taking the card to her and this was the 'best' one. I borrowed this card's design from the beautiful baptism card that my talented sister-in-law made for my daughter's baptism.

For this card I again used the Many Greetings stamp set along with the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I used some adhesive pearls, Prima Flowers, satin ribbon and the BloomDot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Hospital Doll - PKS Sneak

So our children's specialty hospital gives out these dolls. We had went in for an orientation and they gave one of these to each of my daughters. They told them they could take them home and decorate them how they want. When I mentioned that they would be cute with a Peachy Face my girls got SO excited. We came home and decorated them up by stamping some "new" Peachy Keen face stamps on the dolls. We used The Moodies 2.25" faces.

Make sure to stop by the PKS blog to see the other amazing creations with these new stamps! Hugs- Glora

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek Day 3

Have you been LOVING all the Peachy Keen sneak peeks? Well Kathy has done it again and created some more AMAZING stamps! I love this April kit and the face sets are some of my all time favorites.

Here is a fun graduation card I made using the bee and graduation cap off this April 2013 SKOTM set. I also used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut the SVG's for the perfect outline.

Doesn't that bee and its sweet face just make you smile?

The polka dot paper is by PaperTrey Ink. The twine is from The Twinery. I used Copics to color my bee and some Stickles and StarDust gel pen for the sparkle. I hope you like it.

Make sure to stop by the PKS blog to check out what everyone else has made. I know you won't be disappointed. Hugs- Glora
