Hello crafting friends! Sorry it has been so long since my last post, life has just been BUSY! I did want to share with you a game that I put together for my daughter's birthday party yesterday. She wanted everything to have a FLOWER theme so we thought a fun game of pin the bee on the flower would be fun. It was a hit with the girls. This is also my entry for the Let's Face it Friday challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps. We were supposed to use material in our project.
Here is the whole flower...
I used a strip of green material for the stem but everything else is cut out of paper.
Here is a close up of the flower and the bees...
Anyway, I hope you like it! All the pieces were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. The flower was cut at about 11.5" and the bees were about 1.75" each. I used the darling Critter Faces in the Small size for all of the bees. And the flower center is a Basic Paper Doll Face.
I hope to be back on here before Christmas, but if not I would like to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Hugs- Glora

adorable the peachy keen face look so cute especially on the little bees
ReplyDeletereally cute, wonderful creation to change it up from the donkey, very creative Glora! I love the little bee's faces, especially the one with the glasses, I need some stamps with glasses, my youngest son has to wear them, and now my hubby and I are using readers all the time, so it would be nice to have some. I always wanted the simple Simons when I first saw them and the glasses, simple Sally's too...so many awesome stamps so little spending money.... :( LOL My LSS is carrying PKS now so I'm ecstatic about that, will be able to build my collection, they told me they will order what ever stamps I want woohooo, I want so many...well, all of them really, LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyway...love your project, gl with the challenge!
I hope you and yours have a safe and happy holiday season and it continues through out 2012
Cindy :)

Super cute! Don't you love having a Cricut at times like this? I spent so long creating "Pin the Wheel on the Dump Truck" for Eric's 4th birthday party - having the Cricut back then would have made it a breeze! Merry Christmas to you, Glora!!!
