Today over at My Creative Time we are posting projects in honor of the anniversary of September 11th. What a sad and scary day that was. I remember it very well, as I'm sure you do as well. I am truly thankful for the freedom that I enjoy and the many men and women who work hard to keep our country safe and free.
For this card I used a couple of Emma's stamp sets. For the star background and the God Bless America sentiment I used 'My Little Firecracker' stamp set. Then for the 'Thank You for your Service' I used the 'Happy Homecoming' set. I also have to say that I'm LOVING how many sentiments fit PERFECTLY into Emma's 'Stitched Oval Die.'
I hope you will drop by the My Creative Time blog to see what Emma and the rest of the design team have in store for you!!!! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

This is just beautiful Gloria. I have always been so proud that my maiden name is "America" that when I got married I took it as my middle name. 9/11 is my birthday and on that day as on all days, I am so proud to be an American!

Like the patriotic card. Especially like the white inking around the edges of the map. I crocheted some patriotic favors today on this 9/11 day that you can see on my blog.
