MCT August Release - Sneak Peek Day 4

Hi My Creative Time fans. Today isn't one of my assigned days to post but I couldn't resist making up a couple of quick cards with today's sets. These sets are the 3x3 Fancy Tri-fold Card and the 3x3 Fancy Envelope.

This first card was made using the tri-fold card die and one of Emma's older sets called Home Sewn. I saw my fellow DT sister Katie make a card with the house in the wagon when the set first came out and I loved the idea and used it here.

This second card was made using the 3x3 Tri-fold card die and one of the sentiments from the stamps that come in this set. The baseball player is from an older set called Grand Slam.

Here is this card with its coordinating envelope. I love that I'm going to be able to make fast and cute 3x3 cards and envelopes to put them in.

MCT August Release - Sneak Peek Day 3

Hello My Creative Time friends. Aren't you LOVING this release so far? WOW! I have loved seeing what everyone is making with these sets and I hope you are too.

Today we are showcasing a set called Just Simply Live. This set comes with an AMAZING Polaroid die and a fun little banner die too. I just LOVE it. I've only made a couple of projects with it so far and see myself using it over and over again.

I made two projects today, this first one is a magnet. I used some magnetic backed paper that I picked up a LONG time ago. This die cut it BEAUTIFULLY.

I thought this would be perfect to leave on the fridge and put little wallet sized pictures of my family in it. This picture is of my sister and me at Disneyland years ago (I'm the one on the right).

I also made a double sided Christmas ornament. This die is symmetrical so you can totally make it double sided so that both sides are equally pretty. For the sentiments on the ornament I used the new From our Family to Yours stamp set.

MCT August Stamp Release Day 1

Hello My Creative Time fans, it is time for another stamp and die release and this one is a BIG one! These are seriously going to blow you away. Emma has really outdone herself this time. Today the design team members are showcasing either Treats for my Sweet or Piles of Smiles. I'm showcasing the Thanksgiving set called Piles of Smiles.

Don't you just love those fonts together? I think you are just going to love this set of sentiments, images and dies. I'm excited to use these for my Thanksgiving cards and layouts. The Indian and Pilgrim are from a Cricut Craft Room Exclusive called Classroom October - November. It was the freebie of the week last week. The Indian doesn't really have so many layers but I wanted him to have colorful feathers so I cut it out in a few colors and did the layers myself. I used a Versamarker around the edges and my Gellyroll for some accent dots. The faces are from the Critter Faces stamp assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I just masked the eyes separate from the mouth so I could position them where I needed to.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #30 - Popped Up

Hi Peachy Keen Stamps fans, it is time for challenge #30 at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. For this challenge you have to make a card and on this card you need to POP something up.

For mine I just had to use some stamps from the newest PKS stamp release. I thought it would be cute to do a little dimensional scene. Each layer is pop dotted up one pop dot higher although it is hard to see in the picture it looks really cool in person.

I used the school house and worm from the August 2012 SKOTM. The darling school bus is from the School Bus and Lunch stamp set. I just think this is the cutest school bus ever!!! All of the patterned paper is Doodlebug Designs Petite Prints. There is glossy accents on the eyes and I used a white Gellyroll pen as well.

Make sure to stop by the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog to see what the other designers have done and to link up your own Peachy creation! Hugs- Glora

Hi, I'm stopping by today with some very simple thank you cards. I printed the image out of a Disney Print Studio program that I've had for years and then I did some basic scoring and stamping to finish them off.

For this one I used Fly Away With Me Sentiments and Even More Gift Card Sentiments by My Creative Time.

Here I used the Sports Sentiments stamp set by My Creative Time.

And for this I used the Even More Gift Card Sentiments again.

Have a wonderful day and I will be back on Friday with a new Peachy Keen Project. Hugs- Glora
