Bee-utiful Birthday Wishes

Here is another card, in detail, from the Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog Hop.

The card base comes from the Create a Critter cartridge sized at 4.25 x 5.5". The background rectangle was hand cut at 3.5" x 4.75". This bee came from the Create a Critter cartridge and I cut her at 3.75". The sentiment for this card come from the Peachy Keen Stamp set called Bee Happy. Her darling face comes from the Snow Cuties face assortment. I used some Stickles and rhinestones to sparkle her up. All of the papers are Core'dinations and I used the Core'dinations sander on my embossed background. I used the Bloom Dot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the background. All of the edges are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I also did a lot of faux stitching with my Sakura GellyRoll Pen. The bee is also on an Action Wobble which makes it fun and interactive too.

Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Welcome Baby Banner

If you are looking for the My Creative Time June Release Blog Hop make sure to scroll down to the next post.

Hi sweet Peachy Keen Fans. Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a fun little 'welcome home baby' door sized banner to share with you.

Here is the whole banner so you can get an idea of how it looks all together.

And here is a closer shot:

All of the light blue paper was stamped with a background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps called Grampa's Pajamas. I think it looks so sweet on here. The banner pieces are cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge and the letters are cut from the Pooh Font Cricut cartridge. I added eyelets and inking to each banner piece. I also added some faux stitching around each letter.

I love how sweet these little babies turned out with their Peachy faces, so I have a closeup of each baby:

The babies are cut from the New Arrival Cricut cartridge and their sweet faces are from the Just Baby Faces Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I chalked the edges and cheeks and added some Glossy Accents to the eyes. The banner is connected with some tricolor Trendy Twine.

I hope you enjoyed this banner and I hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs- Glora

MCT June Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the My Creative Time June Release Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Cindy's Blog. If not, make sure to get the whole hop in by starting at Emma's blog.

I am just LOVING these new sets and I thought that this airplane would be so cute with a welcome baby banner coming from it. This sentiment from the All Star Baby stamp set fit perfectly.

This is a clean and simple card, but I love how it turned out. I used the airplane die cut from the Fly Away with Me Die set and then I stamped and inked up the airplane image from the Fly Away with Me stamp set. The banner die comes with the Fly Away with Me Sentiments stamp set and I used some hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique to tie it to the airplane. The 'welcome sweet baby' sentiment comes from Emma's previously released All Star Baby stamp set. The cloud background is made using the Cloudy Day background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps. The light blue was done using Broken China Distress Ink by Tim Holtz. The white background was made by embossing it with the Swiss Dot CuttleBug embossing folder and adding a couple of score lines using my Martha Stewart Score Board.

MCT June Release Sneak Peek Day #2

Hi My Creative Time fans, it is time for another awesome My Creative Time release. I'm not really scheduled to post today, but I love these sets so much that I couldn't resist making an extra card to post today.

Isn't this little girl so sweet? I love that she can be holding these balloons or a kite. These stamps are so versatile. I was in a watercoloring mood so I used my watercolor pencils for my card today. I think it gives this a soft whimsical sort of look. The girl and the balloons are both from the Fly Away With Me stamp set from the June release. For the sentiment I used Emma's previously released Many Greetings stamp set. I love this particular thank you sentiment with a bunch of balloons or a bunch of flowers, hey, you could even use it with a bunch of grapes or bananas. I used Hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique and I embossed the pink background with the Polka Dots CuttleBug embossing folder. I just made the polka dots POP a little more by inking them lightly with some white chalk ink. I love to do that with my dry embossing.

Hi My Creative Time fans, it is time for another awesome My Creative Time release. I think you are REALLY going to LOVE this release there are SO many fantastic ways to mix and match these sets.

I have two small 3.5" x 3.5" cards to share today. I love this size for a quick little note.

I used the balloon die and then paper pieced the hot air balloon with paper from the DCWV - All About Boys paper stack. The hot air balloon can be found on the Fly Away with Me stamp set, the hot air balloon die is on the Fly Away with Me Dies set and the sentiment and wavy banner are both part of the Fly Away with Me Sentiments set.

Here is my second little card:

For this card I used the airplane from the Fly Away with Me stamp set and the sentiment from the Fly Away with Me Sentiments stamp set. The cloud background is by Peachy Keen stamps and is called Cloudy Day.

Wishing you a Fairy Happy Birthday

Here is the first card in detail from the Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog hop a couple of weeks ago. This card is one of my favorites because of the colors and because I absolutely LOVE Teddy Bears.

The card base comes from the Create a Critter cartridge sized at 4.25 x 5.5". The background rectangle was hand cut at 3.5" x 4.75". This little bear came from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cartridge. I cut her at 3.5". I used a star paper punch to make her a wand. The sentiment for this card come from the Peachy Keen Stamp set called Mini Fairies and Girl Gnomes. Her darling face comes from the Here Kitty Kitty 1 1/8" face assortment. I used some Stickles and Glossy Accents. All of the papers are Core'dinations and I also used the Core'dinations sander on the pre-embossed polka dot background and the bears ears and tummy. All of the edges are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I also did a lot of faux stitching with my Sakura GellyRoll Pen.

I hope you have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora
