Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Guest Designer

Hello! Today I am guest designing at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I love Lisa's cut files and I was so excited when they said I could guest design. I made a few projects to share with you today.

A special little boy just turned 2 so I thought this fun shape card would be cute for him:

This cute little boy and cake come from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons file called Make a Wish Cutting File. Isn't he darling? I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen Face stamp called PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment. I also used a couple of My Creative Time stamp sets. The #2 is from Follow Your Dreams and the Birthday Boy sentiment is from Celebrate Good Times. I did some faux stitching with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen and added some Glossy Accents to the eyes.

Next up is a fun beach ball shape card for my niece's birthday next month. She loves swimming so I thought this would be the perfect summer birthday card.

The beach ball shape card and girl both come from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons file called Little Swimmers. I stamped her face with another Peachy Keen Face stamp called PK-1200 The Moodies. I also added a sentiment from Craftin' Desert Divas. It is from the Simply Said stamp set. I did more faux stitching and added Glossy Accents to the eyes.

And my last project is a stick puppet for my girls. They LOVE it and I'm really hoping that Lisa comes out with some more princess costumes for these cute girl cuts.

I made a front side and a back side for her so she would be cute as they played with her coming or going. It was really pretty simple to do. All I had to do was rearrange the layers and voila.

The cute little girl is from the PPPR Dress Up Girls 1 Cutting File and her cute princess dress is from the Dress Up Girl Princess Dress 1 Cutting File. I stamped her face with another PKS face stamp from the PK-1320 In the Garden Face Assortment. I also did a little bit of accenting with my Sakura Gelly Roll.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for today!

Lisa, thanks so much for letting me guest design for you! Hugs- Glora

Happy Father's Day!

I made this shape card for my husband for Father's Day. It is also a shaker card. It was a lot of fun to FINALLY make a shaker. I also learned A LOT about making them from trial and error :). It was loved by my husband and my children too.

This card was made with only My Creative Time products. The circle shape is the largest of the circles from the new Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. I used the three smallest circles to make my Mickey icon (I cut the bigger circle and then I cut each ear). Since there is stitching on the negative it gives a fun effect to my Mickey icon (the stitching does overlap just slightly but I love it). I filled the shaker up with tiny little micro-beads I've had on hand forever. The sentiment is from Here's Lookin at You. Since it was for my husband and with a masculine theme I'm entering it into the current My Creative Time challenge.

I hope you have a terrific day. Hugs- Glora

Graduation Cards

I have a couple of more graduations cards that I hadn't posted yet. I went with quick and easy graduation cards this year and printed them straight out of my Silhouette Designer software.

This card uses a file that was a freebie at Lettering Delights. You can still get it but it is no longer a freebie, it is called The Happy Graduate - 2014 and can be found HERE.

For this next card I used the same Lettering Delight image and added a Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons image with it.

I stamped his face with a PKS face stamp called In the Garden Face Assortment. The boy comes from the PPPR SVG set called Graduates Cutting File.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

On The Road Again

I'm happy to be doing a guest designer post for Craftin Desert Diva's today using the new Destination Fun stamp set.

We are going on a road trip this summer and I thought it would be fun to do some quick little treat bags for my girls with their favorite gum inside. I think they will love it.

Isn't that sentiment from Destination Fun perfect for these? I did a little masking so I could put the sentiment on the 3 lines. I like how it turned out.

The images all come from an svg set by Miss Kate Cuttables, appropriately called On the Road Again. I made the little treat bag using My Creative Time's 4x4 Journal Die + More. I hope you enjoyed it.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday Sweetie! - Card

One of my nieces is having a birthday soon. She is in the Mandarin Chinese immersion program at her school and loves Mulan. I thought it would be fun to do a Mulan inspired birthday card for her. I was just trying to figure out the design of my card when the new Peachy Keen Stamps sketch challenge came up. It made it a breeze to put together with the sketch as inspiration.

Below is the sketch (and there is still a ton of time to join in the challenge so you should join in too). You can find the details HERE.

PKC-14-09

And here is the card that I made. I changed things a tiny bit but stuck pretty close to the sketch.

I got the Mulan inspired cut file from Too Cute By Jessica's Pretty Little Princesses 2. The perfect little face I stamped on is from Peachy Keen Stamps Princess Face Assortment. The oval die and sentiment are both from My Creative Time. The oval comes from the Surprise Pop-Out Card die and the sentiment is from Celebrate Good Times.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Anniversary Tag - 55 Years

Today's project is near and dear to my heart. It is for my parent's 55th wedding anniversary. I feel very blessed to celebrating this day with them. We almost lost my dad about a year and a half ago and I'm treasuring every moment we have with him.

My love of all things Disney came from many early childhood memories with my family. We are all kind of Disney nuts. Anyway, when Emma came out with her Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves last month I knew that the little flower circles would make a cute Mickey icon. What do you think?

Emma's products made this tag SO easy and I think it turned out really cute too. Don't you love how that stitching around the circle makes a little Mickey head? This tag is going to be tied onto some new luggage that my parents need for their anniversary trip to Disneyland.

Here is the backside of the tag (the perfect spot to add a gift card for their trip too):

I LOVE this little pocket for gift cards. Isn't it perfect?! Here are the items I used for this tag (all of which are My Creative Time products): Tag Dies (tag), Vintage Stitched Label (banner), Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves (Mickey icon), Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO Dies (hearts), Tag Gift Pocket Die (gift card pocket), Fun gift Pocket Sentiments (a little something sentiment), Gift Card Sentiments (happy anniversary sentiment), and All Around Birthday Time (55th sentiment).

I hope you enjoyed my little tag! Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora
