Happy 1st Birthday

This past week we celebrated my little guy's 1st birthday. I cannot believe he has been here a whole year already. The time has really flown by. He is such a sweet boy and is quite content and happy most of the time. We just love him. I made him this card it coordinates with a treat container I made him a couple of weeks ago.

For the Baby I used Life is Good Babies, the '1' stamp is from Baby Buzz Sentiments and the face stamp on the baby comes from the Sweet and Innocent Faces in the 1 1/8" size all from Peachy Keen Stamps. The Happy Birthday sentiments comes from My Creative Time's, Wow So Many Candles stamp set.

Don't judge this too closely, I'm no cake designing pro (plus I always have such a hard time writing with frosting - LOL), but here is the cake that I made him. This is totally not my own idea I got it from HERE.

Have a wonderful day! Hugs- Glora

Happy Birthday Princess with BLING

Hi everyone, there is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time and we are using BLING for the challenge (glitter, gems, sequins, you name it). This was a fun challenge and I hope you will play along at My Creative Time.

I had WAY too much fun with the bling on this. I used the All Around Birthday Time for the crown and sentiment. I heat embossed the crown in silver. I added a little bit of stickles to the crown as well as some adhesive gems. I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circles by My Creative Time. The glittery pink and purple papers are by Core'dinations. The blue is by DCWV. I added a few sequins and gems at the bottom too. This is a super BLINGY and fun birthday card for a girl.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog so you can join in this fun challenge too! Hugs- Glora

Have a Dino-Mite Birthday

Today is Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time. We are all using our scraps and using CIRCLES as our theme.

I have had these embossed circles sitting around for months. I had cut them out as a visual for a church lesson for the children (they were supposed to represent manna). Afterwards I couldn't just throw them away and I was trying to decide what to do with them. When this challenge came up I was determined to use them. I used the All Around Birthday Time stamp set along with the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies by My Creative Time.

I had a lot of fun with this and look forward to making a card just out of my scraps again soon! Hugs- Glora

The Little Mermaid... A Day to Remember

Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time. My youngest girl is absolutely in LOVE with the Little Mermaid right now so I thought I would make this layout to put a picture of her and Ariel together.

The Little Mermaid cuts are all from the Dreams Come True Cricut cartridge. The patterned floral paper is by PaperTreyInk. And the awesome 'A day to remember' sentiment comes from My Creative Time's Cherish This Moment stamp set.

I hope you have a wonderful day. And if you are looking for more scrappy inspiration make sure to stop by Emma's blog and see what everyone has made. Hugs- Glora

More Baptism Cards

Well I have some more simple baptism cards to share. You will probably see a few more of these as there are still about 4 or 5 more children that will be baptized this year.

I used a floral embossing folder, some prima flowers, adhesive pearls, and a little ribbon. I also used My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die along with the Many Greetings Stamp set. Have a wonderful Sunday!

For this one I used another Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I used the same baptism sentiment stamp by My Creative Time. I added some butterflies from a die that comes in the Chunky Jar Accessories set.also by My Creative Time. I folded up their wings for some extra dimension. Then I tied it off with some purple ribbon.

Tropical Floral Note Cards

Hi today is my turn to post on the PKS Blog. I have a set of CAS cards and coordinating envelopes.

These were created using the new Tropical Florals stamp set.

I used a Kaleidacolor Ink pad to get the gradiant colors.

The sentiment on this one comes from the darling new Rock a Hula stamp set.

I masked this sentiment and used the word 'VACATION' from the June 2013 SKOTM and the 'Greetings' comes from the Rock a Hula stamp set.

And last of all, here is one of the cards with it's coordinating envelope.

The envelopes all look just like this with one flower stamped in the corner.

I hope you enjoyed this simple and fun card set. Have a terrific day! Hugs- Glora

Oh Baby... Happy Birthday

It is time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps. This challenge is a 3D Object challenge and the theme is BIRTHDAY. I can't believe it but my little guy is almost 1 so I made this for his special day.

I used an old Crystal Light container and just altered it. I'm not sure if I'm going to use it for some small toy cars (he loves those) or if I will fill it with some of his favorite little bite sized treats.

I used several Peachy Keen Stamps for this project. I used the April 2012 SKOTM for the 'Happy Birthday' and the 'It's Time to Celebrate' sentiments. The 'Oh Baby' and the '1' I stamped on the onesie come from the Baby Buzz Sentiments set. The cute baby is from the new Life is Good Babies stamp set. I did use a different face for the baby than what comes with this set. I used the brand new Sweet and Innocent Faces in the 1 1/8" size.

I hope you enjoyed my project. Make sure to hop over to the PKS Challenge blog to see what the other designers made. I hope that you can play along too! Hugs- Glora

I Have an Idea...

It is 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time. I decided to alter a small notebook for my daughter.

I used the Chocolate Greetings set for the little banner die. The stamp comes from the You're Brilliant stamp set. For the flower I used the Rolled Flower Dies and the leaves are the Stitched Leaves Dies. All of these products are from My Creative Time. I love how awesome they work together.

Make sure to stop by Emma's blog and see what everyone else has made. Hugs- Glora

Happy Summer!

Today is the 3rd day of Sneak Peeks at Peachy Keen Stamps. This new stamp kit of the month is full of summer, vacation, and beach fun! I love it. The add on sets are AWESOME too.

I made this card with a family of star fish...

All of the stamps are from the June 2013 SKOTM, I used sandpaper for my sand. The seashells were part of a sequin pack I picked up years ago at Walmart. I tied it off with some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

I also made a couple of cards for fun. I thought I could take them when we go on vacation and my girls could color them up, write a note inside and tell the recipient that they could cut out the puzzle.

This one is a 3" Puzzle stamp and the black images are from the June 2013 SKOTM.

This one is a 4" Puzzle stamp and it was made using the June 2013 SKOTM along with the Fish Bowl stamp.

I hope you enjoy these and make sure to stop and see what the other PKS designer's have made with these amazing stamps HERE. Hugs- Glora
